Hi Chrysz and Mahesh,
If I may come in,
Lifespan of a person depends on the BMI (Basal metabolic index) which has to do with the height - weight ratio and not just the height.
Thanks.

I thought that was a very sweet discussion. Having said this, I have no clue at all! As far as my knowledge goes there isn't any proven fact. I guess, it's same irrespective of the height of the person, if not stature. A fat person seems to have low life span due to health factor but that justifiable. In case of height I think, it works the same.

Ha, ha ask me again the day before I die, LOL! I dont really know.I dont really think there are any viable statistics on that. I am only 5'2". Many of the men in my family were tall and lived to at least 70+ but I don't know what height had to do with it.

I don't think it would really make much difference mahesh - unless there were genetic disorders that made them very short or very tall and also caused other health problems. I do think though that statistics will prove that one or the other lives longer although I have no idea why. xxx
