Do you have songs you like to listen to while going on long road trips?
I like to listen to classic rock: Lynard Skynard, Led Zeppelin, Rolling Stones, etc.
But there are some other good driving music bands: Moby, P-Funk, U2, Cake, and lots more.
What do you like to listen to while driving on long trips?

I listen to a lot of different music on road trips. It all just depends on what kind of mood I'm in and who's with me. I love listening to classic rock. However I do like listening to techno and alternative bands as well. My friends and I used to go on little road trips together and we would make a cd with lots of different music. It had anything from Foo Fighters to Beastie Boys to Moby.

We never ever listen to music while riding in the car. We think it distracts us from road hazards. We are very very careful drivers. We do converse with one another while driving though. We go on several long trips every year and it is such a good time to be cozy together.

Whenever I decide to take a roadtrip I like some of the classic rock too...I like a few songs by AC/DC and a few songs by John Mellecamp....but I also like to take some songs by Kenny Chesney and Brad Paisley...Brad Paisley said himself that his latest CD was best described as a "Driving CD" that you should listen to it in the car. Another one of my favorites to take along is Tim McGraw...I think that when you are listening to good music it makes the trip seem that much better!
