It is official, the Nightmare On Elm Street series is getting rebooted and remade. This time rumor has it that more backstory on Freddy when he was alive will be presented, but that is rumor. What is known is that Michael Bay's company Platinum Dunes is in charge of the remake. See more on this story here:

This is exciting. But, I don't think it will be as good without Robert England playing Freddy.

some people are reporting Englund has been approached to reprise the role..but right now nothing is anything but rumor

I remember when I was a little kid. I used to be scared of Freddy. Anyway all kids does. They better make it good because a lot of people will be watching that movie.

I really hope that they do make another part to nightmare on elm street because I thought that all the other parts were pretty good...I will be glad if there is actually a good scary movie that comes out...if you have looked at the movies that are in theateers today they arent exactly good....I just wish I knew when the movie was coming out where we coudl actually be looking forward to it and watch for it in movie theaters....well cross your fingers that they do put another elm street movie out and cross your fingers that its good!
