How many friends do you have on Facebook?

I was just wondering how big people's friend lists on Facebook are. Right now I have 1004 and I thought it was pretty cool how I broke the 1000 mark. All of them are people I met in real life, not the internet. That shows how useful Facebook can be to connect to people that you know. What about you guys? Are most of your Facebook friends people that you know outside of the internet?

Wow! That is absolutely amazing and impressive you have met 1000 people in real life! Talk about a great social networking person, good for you! That is really really good! I joined facebook but didn't like it, I've only got one friend on there, I tend to stay on Mylot where most of my friends are. 1000, boy definitely impressive.

Thanks wolfie, I actually used to be in the military and that's where about 400 of them came from. I have another 200 or so from high school and the rest are various people I met doing business or around town.
That's great that you have all your friends on myLot. Unfortunately for me, I don't have many friends who use myLot which is a shame since myLot pays money and Facebook doesn't. *sigh*

Yes Facebook is very good site. It is good way to keep in touch with your friends. I think its much better than Orkut or some other.

Oh yeah I totally agree. Orkut is not that popular yet. Not even close to Facebook.

I just registered with facebook (I know I am a bit late) and I just had four friends there. Two of them are my online friends. I am still exploring some of the features there but I am quite happy with it. Indeed, I do think that more people will look for me later on there and I might be able to have more friends.

I don't go on facebook a lot. I have most of my friends on myspace. and my total of almost 3000 I think. Most of those people I have met in real life. I don't just add random people. I met most of them from concerts and friends of friends. It is a good was to connect with people and to stay in touch.
