Expensive old hardware - damn!

I need a ddr1 ram for my PC because its of older technology. I can find a DDR1 ram of 1GB at 90 euros here, while a DDR2 RAM of same size costs 30 euros. Dont you think this is extremely weird? Especially with RAM modules, it really is too much! Whats you opinion? PS. Theres no shortage of RAM of DDR1 technology, if thats what you think. They still sell well, so that isnt a reason for their price.
