Valentines Day is fast approaching....

Valentine's Day is perfect for those with a partner. But what do you do if you have no partner? Celebrate alone, with a box of chocolates and a mug of tea?

I don't make a big deal out of it. I have a boyfriend but I have been away from in for a few months and will still be for Valentines Day. We never celebrate it. With previous boyfriends they gave be cards and maybe a little gift like a stuffed animal. I may have given them a card but I don't remember making a big deal about it.

I'm spending this year in a long distance relationship, and since the day falls in the middle of the week (almost) this year I will probably celebrate it like I usually do. (Which is to say, by being bitter about not having someone to snuggle with, going to classes and trying to forget what day it is, and ending the day watching horror movies.)

There are plenty of things to do on Valentines day with no partner. No need to "celebrate" anything single or not. My favorites 1. Do Nothing 2. Just go out on the town and have fun. Don't worry about anything. 3. Sit home and relax for a bit. Other things (more sarcastic and silly) 1. More Do Nothing 2. Sleep 3. Protest the day 4. Make plans for Black Day/Single's Day (April 14th) 5. Again do nothing. Don't have to worry about pleasing/romancing another.
