I totaly agree with you. Even in my country and i believe almost everywhere alot of money are spent for the elections from the candidates... And thats a shame!

Have you ever noticed for the most part celebrities, especially actors, are normally pulling on the Democratic side. I remember before President Bush got into the White House a lot of them said they were going to move to Canada if he won....hmm. They're still here. I guess they realize it's a lot colder up there and a lot easier to make money here in the good ole U.S. of A.

Thing I wonder about celebreties is almost all of them are, apparently, liberal. Sounds cynical, but I sometimes wonder if they actually are liberals or if they're just following the trend as part of their image. They are very into their trends - obscure religons for example.

I guess my question is, what's wrong with Bruckheimer? I know "most" of those in the entertainment fields seem to donate to Democrats but I say at least that leave some of the wealthy to give to them. If the Dems are so bad for the economy and the country as a whole, why do you suppose these people tend to lean left? Obviously they depend on the average person to keep their own careers afloat. In answer to some other posts, many of these same celebrities give a great deal of their money and time to charitable organizations so it really isn't that they're only giving to politicians.
