I prefer to sleep with them off, but my feet get tingly and keep me awake for some reason (anyone know a possible cause). After levitating a few times and waking up my husband, I remember to put on a snug pair of socks. Sometimes I rub some nice lavender body lotion on first and then put the socks on. It works almost miraculously. My feet feel cozy and I fall asleep. The other day my husband made a joke about how sexy it is to have my socks on in bed - not - and I felt a little miffed, but I told him I'll try to make sure he never actually sees them.

Maybe you have RLS (restless leg syndrome) and socks fix your restlessness instead of a pill! who knows, but whatever works.
Also if you put on lotion, then socks when you go to sleep it will help kep your feet young and healthy looking.
My boyfriend had really bad athletes foot for a while. They were all rough, and not very attractive. So every night we would put vasaline then immediately socks on them. It took about a week, but his feet looked so much better. Now we do that about once a month to keep his feet nice and smooth!

I usually sleep with my socks on as my feet get too cold otherwise, especially since it is wintertime. Though some nights my feet are bare when I sleep. LOL
For some reason when I wear socks while sleeping they somehow stay on my feet...most of the time. LOL Sometimes they are half on as they get twisted around during the night, but they have yet to be completely off by the time I wake up. :P LOL

I would say that 75% of the time I have to have socks on to sleep. If it is hot out I don't but most of the time I can't sleep without them. It isn't even about my feet being cold, I just don't like the feeling of my feet touching when I'm trying to sleep (weird I know). Someone actually once told me that if you sleep in socks you'll go blind (something to do with circulation), which is totally ridiculous I know..but I always try to sleep in big loose fuzzy socks because somewhere in my head I remember them saying that.

I dont think its completely ridiculous. Maybe the going blind part, but cutting off circulation I can believe. Its the same with Bras that have the wire around the bottom. Your not supposed to where that kind, and if you do, your not supposed to where it for very long. Anything that cuts off circulation isnt good for you.
So its good that this persons stuck in the back of your head!
I told another person that people that like to sleep with socks on are in the minority, but who cares! Whatever helps you sleep comfortably!

I usually sleep without socks. If I were to sleep with socks on, that's because my feet feels really cold. Otherwise, a blanket will do- cant sleep without one! ;)

Oh, I can't handle socks on my feet when I sleep. Just thinking about makes my feet feel all cramped inside my socks and slippers. Now I'm going to have to take my socks off - lol!

Oh i cannot sleep with socks on. They just make me so uncomfortable under the sheets. I can't sleep with pajama pants to bed either. As a matter of fact, not to offend you, but i recently started sleeping naked. It is such a freeing feeling and sooooooooooo darn comfortable. I am a mother of 3 boys so of course i have to sleep with the doors locked. But oh, what a feeling!

I actually can't sleep if I still have my socks on. It's weird, but it doesn't matter how cold it is, how cold my feet are, how thick my blanket is, I just cannot relax enough to sleep if I have my socks on. I've always been like that.

Unless I just fall asleep or soemthing which I almost never do I usually just take them off and put them on the edge of the bed or infront of the bed with my shirt and pants...I think that it is better to sleep with them off because I mean you have all day that you have to wear them so you need to take them off sometimes..so why not do it at night wheenver you are sleeping?

i physically can not fall asleep with my socks on. I can lie in nbed for hours and not be able to sleep and the minute i remove my socks from my feet i am out like a light. I dont know if it is perhaps the feel of something surrounding my feet or maybe it is the fact that my feet are too warm in socks, and in turn my body heats up too and i am not at a comfortable warmth for sleeping. i cant remember ever falling asleep with my socks on, let alone waking up with them on

If it is really cold outside like last night. I will wear my socks to bed.We have no heat in our bedroom. Once the bed gets nice and toasty I then kick off the socks. It was so cold in our bedroom last night you could see your breath.

I can't sleep comfortably with socks on. I've done it while camping outdoors, but that's it. I like my feet bare whenever possible. Even in the evenings before getting into my pj's, I'll take off my socks, I don't care how cold it is.
I have a lover who has managed to sleep with his socks still on numerous times. I can't help but laugh at that. I don't care that he does, I just find it funny. The good thing about it is that I don't have to worry about being stabbed with toenails. ;)

I have seen other people who put socks when they sleep but I have never tried that myself and neither my parents and sister does. But I used to have blanket when I sleep. It seems I cannot sleep without it.

We are very lucky in that matter because we do not need socks even in the winter times. It doesn't get that cold at all out here in South India, that too Chennai
