Friending On myLot?

Well like you said, I approve everyone who invites me as friends too. Lol. Sometimes I send friend invites to people I think are friendly enough. I determine this through the way they talk and the topics they started. Hope you can be my friend, you seem friendly. LOL. Nice meeting you.

Hey VampAmber--nice to meet you. Mostly I have accepted friends here who have requested and made friends with alot of members who have posted in the same interest categories as me, Welcome!

Well if there are common interests I'll friend, but I've usually been friended way beforehand. I accept based on how the person has encountered me on mylot. Almost always its because I responded to a discussion or helped them out with something. A few other times its because of different reasons (debate, entertainment, information, what have you). Heh, I'm the first to admit I can even look like a villain on mylot, but disagreements shouldn't be that bad. Even friends that aren't 50% agreeing with me are still friends to me and I've helped them beyond the debate. I look at it all this way. There's a topic, I'll respond. If there's need for more response I'll do that. But at the end of the entire thing, or in another discussion, its completely different. No grudges, and try my best to help others (I'll have to make a "Best Of" for that!) On friend approval I usually approve but I do check what is going on. Also know that over time you'll simply have friends by word too, by interaction and that is very important too. Friends list is a way to get messages to each other, but there are those who are friends without the list. Mylot is rather nice in that way, and its great seeing the community/family in this fashion too.

I'll send a friend invite (granted I've been here a grand total of two days) in the event that I agree with what someone is saying, or think that they're interesting. I'm not one to stalk, but if I see that someone I like the postings of has said something else that I agree with, what kind of a person would I be if I didn't back them up?

I just add a person as my friend if they give some good comments on my disscussions. And if I think they are cool, of course. But you would know that, wouldn't you? lol.
