How Many Discussions Do You Post Too A Day?

I know many of us here are seen accessing this site and responding to New discussions and such daily. Many of us might even have a certain limit that they need to respond too before they log off of here for the night. Do you have a Certain amount of discussions you answer too each day? Or do you just do as many as you feel you can handle for the day, and not even bother keeping count? For me, it goes in spurts. Lately, I have not been on here as much as other times. Life has gotten in the way, etc. but the days I do try and post in here, I usually try to answer at least 10, and then go from there. I personally have met many wonderful people here, and learned a lot, so when I do have Free time, I look forward to coming here and posting a few things and see how everyone here is doing.

I dont keep track but I try to answer atleast 10-15 posts a day. I read alot more then I post too though. I only respond if I am interested by the posts. I have alot of spare time right now for mylot because I'm 33 weeks pregnant and limited to what I can do. He never told me I couldn't sit with my feet up and the laptop on my lap and work away at mylot so until baby comes. Here I am :)

Well, there are times when I keep track more than others. For some reason the last 2 days, I am even keeping complete Tally of how many I do just to compare with the amount of $$ I earn in here to get some sort of an idea how my earnings will stack up to what I am earning in here.

I try to answer as many as I can in a day. I don't start discussions unless I really have something to say, I have trouble thinking of new things to start. I try to answer at least 20 a day.

In my early days of being on My Lot, I used to try to respond to 30 discussions each day. When they dropped their earnings I became disheartened, I stopped being so active. I looked for other programs to participate in. As it is now, I have little spare time. Some days I may respond to only 3 discussions. Today it could be up to 15 discussions. I haven't kept a count. When I have free days I try to catch up on responses. There are days when I have no time to respond.

Out of curiousity, how much income have you made from mylot? I haven't been here for a very long time, so I didn't know that they used to pay more than they do now. I'm also much in the same boat. I don't have a lot of free time but I try to respond when I have time and some days I just can't be bothered.

In my first few months, I think I earned more than the min every month, that is, from $15.00 to $20.00. Then when the pay dropped, around April last year, it became impossible to earn the min. Now it would take me two months, or slightly less, to earn the min of $10.00.

I like to try for at least 10 a day, although I surpass that quite easily some days. In the beginning, it was a little hard to respond and even harder to start a discussion. I'm getting the hang of it now and the posting goes a little faster. And I keep meaning to start writing down my statistics... My time goes in spurts as well. I find that I'm really enjoying my time spent here and time passes way too quickly - ...Whit

It depends I definitely did not do as many today because I spent the whole day working on my new freelance assignment but I keep checking back to see if my friends have wrote something. But I think I do about 20 posts or more a day.

I don't really keep track I just answer if I feel like it and if someone else hasn't already said what I would have. I've actually been on here some days and realized when I logged off that I didn't post anything. Just spent the whole time reading.

There is no specific number of posts that I make or even try to make on any one day or week because it can vary considerably. There are many days when I do not even log in to myLot and others when I am on and off for a few hours, depending on what else is happening in my life. Because I am often away from home and often with no internet access I am trying a new method of doing things. I tried it yesterday and think I made about 35 posts plus made some counter-comments responses I had previously made. However I was only able to do that because I had the email notifications and typed the responses up in word earlier on. Then while I was at one if the company's depots waiting for my truck to be unloaded and reloaded, plus have the legally required break, I got online. All I had to do was a cut and paste from word onto myLot however that is a very unusual day for me I have to add Some days I might get online but due to lack of time only manage to make 8-10 responses so each day varies. I also am not keen to try and set any sorts of targets for myself, because I know there is a good chance that I will not be able to meet them. Why set myself up for a "failure" if it isn't absolutely necessary? Each person has to do what suits them best and as long as we are happy with what we have achieved so much the better and it should not be a problem.

Most times it depends on my mood. If I am in good mood and if I have a lot of time with me, I post more discussions and if I am not in good mood, I don't post lots of discussions. I am not an active member and sometimes there are days I don't post discussions. I think I should consistently try to post to more discussions.

Good question--thanks for asking. I actually try to aim for about 50 per day, while relaxing and having fun at the same time. And the only reason I am doing this is because I want so badly to break that 500 post barrier! But if I miss my goal by a few posts, or when I am tired, I walk away. Quality is way more important to me than quantity. and ican likely make it up the next day.

I normally will only post one discussion per day, but many days go by that I don't post any. I mainly do this because I can't think of original things to post and then trying to keep up with responses I get way behind on responding to my friend's great discussions. As for keeping track - I tried that a few times but always lost count, I just do what I do now and check my earnings the next day to see how well or poorly I did the day before :)

I dont participate in many discussions daily at all. I use to spend way too much time on this site, it can become addicting. Now I just participate in a few that come into my eamil daily and that's it. I don't even start discussions anymore unless I find a good opportunity to share with everyone.

I don't have any set amount of discussions that I post in a day. I just respond to the one's that show up in my email inbox as I can get to them. Some days I respond to more than others. My time is limited so I do what I can. I have to agree with you that I have met many wonderful people here and have learned lots of new things, I really enjoy this community.

For me, it's random. I come here about once a week, and kind of wander about. I might post to about 10? I'm not certain. There have been times when I have tried to consistently post a lot, so as to make it to payout, but I find that I'm so busy with work right now, I really need to take a relaxed approach about most things outside work.

It really depends on my mood. If I love to write and share, then I'll respond to some but quite a few discussions only in a day. I don't even do it regularly. As far as number goes, probably about 5 discussions in a day will do for me. Some days, I go to about 10-20 but rarely more than those numbers. I know that there's hundreds if not thousands of discussions here in mylot wherein you can respond to. But I won't tire out myself to discussions that I don't feel like responding. Only those discussions that I respond to are those that I can really write something about. Where I can share lots of things about it and not just for the mere fact of responding. :) Happy postings

I don't actually count my posts. As long as i have time and enjoying, I keep on posting. This site is a sort of therapy for those who are bored, tired of life, rpoblematic and in search of something in life. We should not limit ourselves here. But just freely posts.

I haven't been on much lately. I have exams and I want to apply for a scholarship. I also have to go to work, so I don't have time to spend it on here. I come back from time to time to check on things, to see if something new is posted. I don't have a certain limit of responses, I usually post in those topics that are interesting for me. Hope in the future I'll post more and respond to lots of topics.

Well, I dont have any target set for the discussions that I respond here on mylot. Sometimes I respond to around five to ten discussions or sometimes to around twenty discussions. It depends on my mood. I only respond to the discussions that I like and on which I have something intresting to discuss. No matter if I could not find any, I would not respond. It has happened many times that I have only responded to one or two discussions since I was not able to find some intresting ones.... So, I think I just have fun here on mylot, nuber of discussions that I respond comes later. But to be honest enough, I try to repond as many as possible provided that they should be of my intrest and I should like them. I mean, it is not neccesary that I have to respond to ten dicussions even if I dont like them. It is not like that, it depends on my mood.....

I had been trying to post to as many discussions as I could in one day, partially because I thought I might have helpful advice, and partially because I assumed I earned more if I was more active on here. Well, my theory got blown out of the water because I made a record 75 cents for a day that I only had 16 posts, when I had only earned like 54 cents for over 40 posts. I have now started to really look over the discussions a little more, respond to those I can really sink my teeth into, and have some fun in the process. I have also been just reading through the ones I may not post to and just rating the discussion topic and responses that I feel were good. That seems to be the key here, contributin gusefull information, rating those you think are good posts, and really being descriptive on your posts. I am actually having alot of fun here on myLot, and I'm hoping to get more of my non-myLot friends involved. I kind of look at this place as a social networking place to share ideas, information and even go for help if I am at a loss for a soulution to something. While you may not see alot of posts from me one day, you might see a bunch from me on another. It kind of depends on what is being posted, and how interesting I find the topic or if I can contribute usefully. (Quality not quantity.) I had been keeping a list on word of the discussions I was posting to, or starting and that got to be rather time consuming. I now only keep track of my start number for the day. Just for my own way of keeping track of how much time I am spending on here. Hope that made sense.
