Hey just curious to know if i can give a bit of water to my 2 1/2 weeks old baby boy? If so, i'm guessing i should boil it before right?

i have 3 boys(7,3,1) and i have always givin them water. after about 2 weeks i made sure they got at least 1/2 oz of water and as they got older i would give them more. their doctor always said that was good. now as they get older they love water and are used to the water. people are very suprised with the way they are with water. about a month ago we went out to eat and the lady waiting on us could not beleive my 3 year old wanted water and not soda or juice. i would boil it just to be safe.

Hello, jewel! it is better to give mother's milk which is a balanced diet for the baby for six months.no other drinks is required.but if you are giving baby foods of any kind you must give water to baby for digestion that too boiled cold water.thank you.
