i dont have a problem with men who cry. men who curl up in my lap and bawl like babies when i end a relationship frighten me a bit tho. i think men should be allowed to express themselves the same way as women. if they feel like crying thats ok. if they feel like not crying thats ok too. i dont think men should be shunned for expressing emotions though tears. Everyone cries. it's one of the very first things a baby learns to do, right up there with breathing and eating. No one should expect males to deal with everything stoicly they should be permitted to express themselves however their bodies want to, even through tears. A man can shed a tear and still be manly.

I have no problem crying or telling anyone that I do cry. Sometimes, like it was said above, there are emotions that come over us and we can't control the feelings that come with those emotions. What else is there to do but let it out, however it must come out. If it's through crying, then so be it. I don't think it makes anyone any less of a man when they cry.

Yes it is ok for a man to cry, men have emotions too. If it was wrong for a man to cry then we would not have the ability to do it.

i salute men who are able to cry their hearts out.. it wouldnt mean they are weak, actually it mans they are brave enough o show their real motions on things.. beware of those guys who are hesitant of crying, because they are the ones who are coward.. crying is not about gender, it's about how you acknowledge the feelings you have deep inside..

Both woman and man are human beings and possess the tear gland. When coming across any saddest moment both of them definitely will tear. The only thing is that man always hides his sorrow and seldom shows his sad emotion to others. This means that he is the stronger as what this usually happens in our society. So we always misunderstand that man never cries and if he does, this will show that he is a coward. I think this is not good for health for a man to suppress himself from crying if he really needs to tear.

I do think it is a perfectly normal thing to do. I am a man but I do cry when needed but unlike women I do cry a lot less than women do. I guess we are able to tolerate more of the emotional bursting out then women do. But I am okay with men crying.

I think it's fine for a man to cry. It is true that men seldom cry. However, once they shed tears, it means that they are really very sad. A cry will help him to release and it will be healthy. The scientists found that a woman usually lives longer than a man as a woman doesn't hide their feelings. They cry when they want.

Well, I do think that we are all capable of crying and we do need to cry at some time to lessen up burden, pain that is inside us. Men merely don't want to cry in public because in our community, in most community, men have a strong image, i mean they seemed to be stronger than females. I heard from others a lot of times that when their son cried, they will said you are a gay because you cry.
I think it is just because it deviates to our norms. The norms that the community set-up. It is just like a girl should not court a boy and should leave the courting to men. But actually if this norms is not implemented, people will not be affected doing a certain thing and a certain actions. They will not be bothered crying in front of many people if in our community we do not associate male who cry are weak.

All of my friends think that if a guy crys they are a wimp or sissy, its because most guys put on a "hard" outersurface and when they do get emotional its overwhelming and unbelievable.me on the other hand i think its just human and a part of life, their going to have hard obstacles to overcome in life too, just like women and it's allright to shed a couple of tears now and then, i dont see nothing wrong with it.

I think men should be allowed to cry - it is the 21st century and there shouldn't be a stigma. However, if this was to become the norm, would mean that us girlies could not longer use tears to our advantage.

I think men who are tough show confidence but if it's too much, then they seem bossy which I don't like. I hardly see males cry around here though I'd say it'd be alright if they cry. not all times. Anyone who cry alot, well it's not good for their mental health. Even if some people say crying lets out emotions. Too much of it, I say is bad for health.

I dont know why people always say men dont cry . i dont think that is right . it shows more if you let it all flow . bottled things up is never good . i respect a man who can show his true feelings.

I believe that it is ok for any one to cry even a man and no it does not make him a sissy. It also depends on what he is crying about. Is he crying from a movie that he watched, then it just shows how sensitive the guy is.
