I want to apologize for my not posting much. I was trying hard to post and keep up before I got sick. I have been really sick and was hopsitalized. It has been no fun. I still am not doing good. But, the doctor said If I promise to rest lots that I can come home. So, I am home. I had the flu.... I have asthma so it immediately went to my lungs and made for a nasty bout of asthmatic bronchitis. I also have a really bad kidney infection. And to top it all off I have pulled something in my back. So, overall I have been incredibly sick. I was taken by ambulance to the hospital and that was not fun at all. Luckily I am home now. There is no way to rest at the hospital. There was always someone in there bothering me. And so I am glad to be home.

Glad that you are home, being sick and in the hospital is not fun. I agree with you that you can't get rest while in the hospital. I pray that you have a speedy recovery and back to feeling good quickly.

Hi hannahjomommy,
Please don't worry about not posting much. I am so very sorry to hear that you've been so ill, and am glad for you that you've been allowed to come home to rest. A number of years ago, I had 2 bouts of asthmatic bronchitis, and I was extremely ill, so can relate. I was asked at the time, if I had asthma, which I don't, so I can well imagine that having this, along with being asthmatic would be horrific. Please take care of yourself, and get all of the rest you need. Do you have somebody to help you out there?

I have Bronchial Asthma and really have to watch my health when I get a cold or flu as well. Pnemonia sets in easily with bronchial asthma. Take it easy and in no time you'll be back to your old self.
HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB !!~

The flu is going around here, but to have all the rest of that must be terrible! A friend of mine had the flu, and so did her husband. He became delirious and wouldn't respond but to stare into space, so she called an ambulance. They came, but said they couldn't take him to the hospital, it was already full of other people who had the same thing! And you're so right, you can't get any rest in the hospital. It's like you have to go home to recover!

I am very sorry that you have been so sick. The flu can be very nasty indeed. Especially as you have asthma & a kidney infection.
I agree that hospitals sometimes are not good places to be be in, especially if you are in a ward. They are so noisy & how can a sick person rest.

Oh you poor sweety...i'm so sorry you've been ill, that all sounds really awful...scary and uncomfortable too. I've experienced kidney infections and I know how bad the pain is. At least you got the help you needed. I'm glad to hear you're home again and I truly hope your recovery is swift.

I'm glad you're out of the hospital, and sorry to hear you had to be there in the first place.
Like you said, there is no way to rest at the hospital. It seems everytime you start to rest, it's time to take your blood pressure, or get a blood sample, check the sugar, etc.
Looking forward to better days ahead for you, hannah.
