I have had the opportunity to use Trend Micro's PC-cillin anti-virus software and their online anti-virus scan, but never the TM firewall. Their gets a rank of good in the list. How well do you find the TM firewall to work? I have found, through experience, that the TM AV is a little less resource intensive than Symantec's Norton and that the online AV is better at catching difficulties than Symantec's. How is the TM firewall on your system's resources?

I use Zone Alarm Pro. No matter what the results in this site are, i still trust ZAP more than anything. A friend tried Komodo and his pc soon wanted format. It might work fine, but try to uninstall it...really, it will never be gone! It leaves behind junk files, registry values, and it still runs!
My friend formatted and now is using ZAP like me.
However, i am kinda disappointed with the version of ZAP i got now, cos it kinda messes up when there are p2p programs...

I have never experienced that problem with comodo. I have uninstalled comodo before, tried different firewalls, and reinstalled comodo without any issues. I have found Zone Alarm Pro to be a resource hog though. Often times the ZA Pro firewall has been wonky for me and not accepted programs/connections through the firewall even after I manually configured them as trusted. Don't get me wrong, Zone Alarm is decent, but I wouldn't recommend it for older systmes or those systems that are short on RAM or use applications that require a lot of space in memory. I wouldn't go back to Zone Alarm because it constantly blocks ActiveSync for my Dell Axim X51V. It's too much hassle to turn off the firewall everytime I want to connect my PPC to my PC.

I'm using Comodo and found that it's a nice firewall for personal computer who have more technical experience than ordinary user. because when it warns user about a program to run, user must read and understand what it says well. so I recommend it for some user who has more info about computer's programs.
I'm not giving a try for another firewall yet

I use Avg Internet Security, which also have its firewall. I like it very much , its very effective. My PC runs at its optimum level. I will not suggest to use an other firewall rather than what your antivirus provides you. .
The best thing is to use a top rated original Antivirus like Norton Internet Security 2008 or any other good antivirus. Then you don't need to worry about your PC's protection.
