Did you have a restful Sunday?

Did you use your Sunday off to rest or did you exert yourself some way? If so, what did you do? I hate starting out my Monday being tired so I tried to take it easy today. Even when I stay home, I can knock myself out around the house. The twins visited for awhile today and we piddled around here, then one went with me to run a few errands. That's about the extent of my Sunday. Tonight I plan on watching a bit of TV. There is a new Brothers and Sisters episode on..yay! How was yours?

All our sundays were spent to meet together in our church building and be fed with the Word of God. Real strength and power comes from the Lord!

Nah, I pretty much work seven days a week. It's funny a lot of people think that when one works at home it's so "glamourous"...okay one doesn't have to get up early if they don't want to, have a hurried breakfast, get dressed then fight traffic going to work...BUT..one's work IS home...so it's staring one right at your face...LOL. So nope..I was doing some more photo scans then tweaking them over at photoshop. Before I did that though I cleaned up, and mopped the floors..and might do sme more work a little later..right now, though I'm here

Yup---I'm hoping to get a successful on-line photo business going...which is why I need to scan my 35mm slides and black and white negatives to digitize them....I still am a film photographer, but eventually hope to get a digital one

It was half and half. I went to play with my nephew for a little bit, hung out with my parents and my sister, then came home to chill. I like to relax on Sunday's. If I do too much, it feels like I didn't even get a break when I go back to work on Monday. Plus, it was 3 degrees when I was driving home from my mom's earlier, so it's just a day made for doing nothing!

I like to leave Sundays open too. I'm getting to old for all the action on weekends and still working full time. I'm glad you are the one with the 3 degrees and not me!

My Sunday was as relaxing as it can be when the power keeps flickering on and off due to high winds. And when one of those times stayed off for two hours and the husband and kids get grouchy because they're bored.

My Sunday was pretty much the same as every other Sunday. The kids woke me up at 7:30 which ticked me off. I get 2 freaking days a week where I can sleep past 7am. So I went up to yell at them (and use the bathroom) and they ticked me off even more and I ended up standing in their room for a half hour making them clean. That set me off for the rest of the day. My head hurt and my eyes burned and I was in a bad mood. I did dishes and swept the kitchen (just for the kids to come in and make a huge mess again) but because I was so tired I didn't do any of the other chores I promised myself I would get done. Urgh. Then I watched the Nascar qualifying with hubby and fell asleep on the couch. The baby woke me up so I went to bed. That was at like 2pm. I woke up and it was 4:30 or so. I did not want to get up but forced myself. Now I'll probably be up all night and get 4 hours of sleep again (like every other night).

I mostly was on the computer. It is my big recreation, plus I am trying to earn a little bit. Tomorrow, and Tuesday are two job days. The non working teenager finally quit at my evening job, so I have the whole four plex to cover. It is okay, though. I will just hand on until summer, and make some changes then. I stayed home, after church. Going to church just involves going out my back door and crossing a parking lot. I love to sing in the choir and am really blessed with the people I find there. That is what Sunday is for me.

I've been sick since Friday so my Sunday wasn't too fun. I slept off and on all day and kept taking my medications. I've got a sinus infection and an ear infection and a terrible sounding cough. I actually think it's more than just a sinus infection but that's what the doctor said it was so I guess I'll go by what he said. At least it's not the flu...it seems like almost everybody in my area is getting that. I'm just tired of being sick.

Normally we have relaxing Sundays...we go to church, go out to lunch, then home for a nap! But this past Sunday I had agreed to do surveys with people who came out of a restaurant. It was fun, but not relaxing!

Sunday is weekend holiday here in our country. We like to enjoy this day at our home or go some where for picnic. Season is changing. Spring is coming a head. It means that we would like to go to garden area to enjoy the spring season. Here was winter cool days which did not allow us to go out. But now the sunlight becoming warm and we could go out to enjoy the weather.

Unfortunately, i didn't have a restful Sunday. All three of my children have strep throat and it's been crazy around here. My two year old doesn't know quite how to handle it, so she's been whining and crying all day. it's been horrible, but we made it through another day. LOL! thanks for sharing and God bless

I my family, we pretty much follow the old church way of keeping Sunday for "rest". This generally means no real exertion or business activities going on. In some ways of thinking, kids were brought up without even being allowed sports or games because of the commandment to rest on Sunday. Of course, some churches still follow the belief that the day of rest or Sabbath is for Saturday. It's really all very interesting and makes sense that God would want us to have a day of rest, just as He himself rested on the seventh "day" of Creation.

I just remembered yesterday was Sunday.... Well yesterday was a different kind of Sunday, though I would not consider it as restful since its my son's birthday. We as a family went to church and then attended his school's fair the whole morning. Then in the afternoon we decided to just stay at home and rest. I did have a chance to rest but in the mid of the afternoon we had a brownout and we could not just rest since the weather was kind of humid and hot. We just decided to be with our child and after several hours power was restored back and again my son was happy and playful as ever. The day ended quite okay for us. I am happy that my child is able to celebrate his birthday and is just as happy doing his day in a very ordinary manner with no fancy parties and everything. he was just very happy yesterday being with us and that made my day for him.

I prefer to be an active woman on Sunday. Usually I go in for sports. I prefer swimming. I think that swimming is the most "physiological" kind of sports.

I work in the restaurant industry and I had to work today. It was okay though. It is one of the only jobs that I enjoy. It was a stressful day around dinner but I will have Wednesday off. My weeks just are normal like most people's lol.
