If You Were Suddenly Investigated...

If crime scene investigators went through your home looking for evidence, what would be the most unusual thing they would find?
In my home, I'd say it would be the toys that are around the house when no children live here and the drawer of prescription medicines for ppl that don't live here. The toys are here for my Nephew and the drawer of medicines were old med's from our foster kids that never got thrown out (their gone now). They may wonder about the baggie of hair in my desk drawer...my Niece's hair that she wants me to donate to cancer victims. Other than that...I think I'd be pretty clean :)
What about you?

I must be pretty normal because I can't think of anything unusual that investigators would find in my house.
Maybe just some chocolate hidden in weird places.....a woman needs her chocolate!

And it MUST be hidden! Otherwise there would be
NO chocolate in the house..lol

I don't think that would find anything wierd in my house. It would be where they found toys. My kids hide their toys every where. They may look at me like a nut case if they found toys where I find them. No wait if I sit here and really think about it it would have to be all the have built computers in the closet that said he will finish one of these days (not that I believe that for a minute).

Well..LOL
Hmm...I don't think that we have anything unusual
around the house..or strange..
WAIT! Do kids count?
I do have a teen...
LOL
Cool discussion, but no..nothing out of the ordinary.
If they do come..maybe while digging through our things they can take half of the stuff with them that we don't use anymore..lol
Sounds good to me..go ahead and tip me off towey68..
lol

Since my husband is a junk collector and messy, (sometimes food is found in weird places), I would be embarrassed that they would even go through my home.. As for anything unusual, like I said, my husband collects junk, it could be just about anything. I guess the most unusual would be food.. Macaroni and cheese packets or old candy, or even Raman noodle packages. (These would be found in a pile of things found not the kitchen, but a bedroom or back porch or even the attic.)

Maybe really deep down your husband is a squirrel..lol
You never know when a harsh winter is coming, so you better store up extra food.
I am sorry to make light of your situation, but it is funny.
It really makes you wonder why people do such things doesn't it?
My husband just collects "stuff" not junk, mind you it is called "stuff". If you call it "junk" he takes great offense.
A good thing his memory is bad, because I don't think he has noticed his "stuff" slowly disappearing....lol

I think it would be my beanie babies and my collection of odd bottles as I am eighty one and have no little kids around. I just have the collecting bug and love the beanie babies. and the old odd bottles was a sort of thrift store collection of pretty and unique shaped and old bottles other than that I lead a pretty normal quite clean life. never even had a jay walking ticket.

Maps on the wall of fictictous places! I love cartography and since a child I have always been designing maps freehand mainly, until I began creating maps on the computer thanks to an illustrator programme. Well I design maps, train maps in particular and I make the place names up! I have a good imagination and would love to create my own fictional city with names that I have created, like playing God but on small scale. So if crime investigators came in they would be perplexed by all these maps going to places that don't exist!

My activist postcards and posters. My panty draw full of checkbooks of various accounts, my passport, my various ID''s. I'm already on the "no fly" list so it wouldn't surprise if "The Men in Black" showed up someday.

I would have said the pair of handcuffs without a key,but since my neighbor tried playing houdini with them and they had to be sawn of her wrists, I don't have them anymore lol.
So I go with the pirate wig, eyepatch and pirate sword, that is my husbands from last, Halloween ;)

I guess I would have to say the wide variety of literature. From Angels and Demons, Teenage Witch, (other witch related), Mother Earth Spirituality,(other Indian related), Vampire books, herbal, Da Vinci, Computer related books, QA , NDT, CAD, Novels, a wide range from true to fiction and biographies. I have a library full and my bedroom has a big book shelf over loaded. There is even more too much to mention.
Also, my babies are a different "range" I have a 165 pound Rotti , 3 Min-Pins, and a ferret. At this time that is all of the babies in the home.
I have medicine in the cabinet for everyone that comes in here. Keeping in mind I have 7 grandchildren that live near me, my daughter, my son, and my brother, and my medicine. Not to mentions all the pet meds.
I am the only one that stays here. So they may think this is odd.
But I think the wide array of reading material tops it all.

They would be disappointed cause I have nothing unusual in my house. They would find a well-organized house that is covered in an inch of dust. Maybe that's the unusual thing they find?

I am Native American and put together Native American crafts including things mad with bones, teeth, hair, feathers and other animals parts. That might arouse some curiosity for an investigator.

At first glance around, it all seems pretty normal, lol. The most 'unusual' thing, well they just shouldn't be looking in my drawers that closely (blushing). They would probably wonder about all the police and firefighter stuff around the house, and no the handcuffs are just on the shelf for decoration! being that I live in PA, they might wonder about all the Texas stuff lol you can take the girl outta Texas, but ya can't take the Texas outta the girl.

Probably my hair from when I cut it all off, some underwear that ended up in strange places and lots of other silly things that should really be kept else where.

LOL I dread to think what they would find! Since all my mobility problems my other half is the one who is SUPPOSED to keep on top of things! I can't actually think of anything that unusual that they would find - apart from the dust and mess! xxx
ps we usually return old medication to a pharmacy as they can dispose of it safely - just thought I'd add that in in case it helps! xxxx

I think that they might wonder why I have a sword collection, that isn't on display. I also have a bag of hair that i've been meaning to take to locks of love, but haven't got around to it. I think that they'd wonder why I never have a dirty knife in my kitchen, and why that is. Also I steam clean my carpets everyday, that might lead them to believe there was a reason why other that just to be clean.

It may not be suspicious, but it is unusual.
I have a jewelry box full of every dog tag/license that my grandfather's dog ever had (most of them from the 70s).
Sentimental for me, but believe me I didn't have to worry about anyone else in the family fighting me for them when grampa passed away LOL.
