Well, I generally use 4 or 5, A regular pillow along with a thin one below my head, one to hold in my arms and one between my knees, and since I sleep in a semi-featel position, I use one to support my back in that position. Post surgery, the doc says that I am tied to back ache for life and so try and make myself as comfortable as possible. Besides backache, everything esle is normal for me.
In the daytime, you won't find any pillows on my bed though.

Must be really comfortable. I must try that position and see if its good for my back too. I don't like to sleep on my back cos I get sore back easily, eventhough I am thin. Takecare Tarachand and thank you for the response.

LOL. I thought I was pillow mad! I sleep with at least 3, preferably 4 or 5. I have to have one for my head, then I keep one on each side of me to put between my knees depending on which side I'm laying on. I also like to have propped up against my back and one to hug on while I sleep. I look like I'm building myself a nest when I go to bed.

Just like me...I sleep all over. I stretch and roll until I get the best position before I sleep so I need all my pillows..and I love it. Thank you for your response.

I have 3 pillows in my bed and they are all for me head only. Some people have like 13 which i never get why you would need that many.

All 3 for your head?...that's quite high, isn't it? I read somewhere that people who sleeps with too many pillows are insecure.Phsycologically those pillows made them feel secured. I love many because I love hugging them. Thank you for your response.

2 big cushions and 2 pillows. I don't like the cushions! Always need to throw them off the bed before going to sleep.

The pillows we have are older, so they're a little flat now, but we have 3 regular pillows each for me and my wife, and then a body pillow that helps her be comfortable(she's about 18 weeks pregnant right now...)

i have 2, one feather soft, and the other one is a cotton (semi soft).. i cant sleep without these pillows coz i have nigthmares..
