How Many Children Do You Have?

Our greatest source of joy is our children. I have three, 18, 11 and 9 and naturally wouldn't change that for the world. I'm at an age now that I won't have anymore, but even if I could I wouldn't. Even though I love them, three is enough. How many children do you have and if you could would you have anymore?

I have 2 sweets , a 14 year old boy and a daughter of 6 and although the eldest is now a teenager I dread the day my daughter becomes a teen - she is already like a teenager now - I swear if I had had her first she would be an only child - little cherub that she is! lol xxxx

I forgot to say that I had to have fertility treatment for my youngest and with my health it would be too difficult for me to have any more. Even if that were not the case I don't think I would have any more - I am(despite the way ot sounds) very grateful and fantastically proud of the 2 I have and to me they are more than enough! xxxx

Amen. I don't want anymore either. If I could, I wouldn't, but I wouldn't trade those I have for anything.

I have 2 children, 10 and 7. I had both of mine naturally. My husband actually wants us to have one more, though I think 2 kids are more than enough for my family, though maybe one day I'll have another before it is too late.

Really? It's never too late? But what about when a woman goes through menopause? Wouldn't it be too late then? :P
Okay, so I haven't gone though menopause yet, but I just had to ask! ;)

I have two lovely daughters ages 18 and 16. Considering that wwith my first I spent three weeks in the hospital on bedrest before I had her and then the second one having cerebal palsy from complications at birth, even if I could have more I wouldn't even try.

i have one though another is on the way soon now. when i had one, i still wanted to have another one as i do like the process of being pregnant. grins hehe yeayea lame reason it's not just that though. i liked going shopping to buy baby stuff. i have already done the shopping for my next one already now.
but at the same time i wanted another because, when they're older, even if there's bad blood between them, when we die, they will have each other instead of being alone. being alone is not bad of course, but there is just this feeling for me, oh i have a sister. it's a different kind of feeling. i feel that way anyway.
but now after the second one, i don't think i will have another. in fact, will not. we won't be able to support them if not. it will be tough so i'm content with just two.

We don't have any children. I think your young enough to still consider it. Some of us would have loved to have children, but couldn't.

I'm sorry that you didn't have any children. I hope that you found something else to fill that void. As for me, I am definitely not young enough to have anymore. LOL.

Identical twins must be alot of fun. When my mother remarried she had a set of twins, but they weren't identical.

I haven't got any of my own. My stepson will be 21 in May. He was a handful enough when he was younger. I was afraid that he would resent a baby if I had one. I sort of wish I had had a baby of my own, but it's too late now. I have my sweet furbaby to cuddle and she will have to be enough.

I have 5 children. 21,18,6,4,and 3. I have my hands pretty full. If I had a choice, I would have spaced them all 2-3 years apart. The gap was a challenge when the older ones were totally teenagers, but things have simmered down. At least now everyone can dress themselves. Child raising is very challenging. As I reach my early 40's I might consider 1 more child.

Thats alot of children and a great span between their ages. I honestly don't know how you do it. Although I grew up with 4 sisters and a brother, but somehow its not quite the same as raising them.

I have two beautiful children. I have a 11 year old boy and a 4 year old girl. I really don't want anymore children since I have a boy and a girl that is what I really wanted. You never know what could happen in the future though.

Hello there! I also have 3 children (boys) ages 17, 13, and 12. They are truly a Godsend, even when i want to wring their necks. I look at them sometimes and cannot believe that their mine. As a matter of fact, Monday, my youngest was playing in the living room and a sadness came over me because i looked at him and realized that he is only mine for a little while for God loaned him to me and i said to myself "i am going to miss him so much along with the other two. I wouldn't dare have anymore, lol. I am also at an age where i don't want to have anymore either. We are truly, truly blessed kbourgerie!!

I have 2 children, one is my own,, the other is my stepson.
Two is enough for me. I am 45 with 2 boys in elementary school.
I love them but would not want more. Too hard and too expensive.

I know the feeling, I am 48 with two in elementary school, although my daughter doesn't live with me right now. I don't want anymore, obviously, but I would love to have my daughter back with me.

I have 4 girls. I love them to pieces. 3 are grown and the youngest just turned 14. I am 51 and have been raising kids since I was 19. Even if I could have more, I would not. Now that things have quieted down in my life and it is not such a struggle, I am enjoying my last baby but also finding other things I enjoy in my life too. Its kind of cool, really.

I feel the same way. I love the children I have, but I'm glad they are old enough that they are somewhat self sufficient. I can't imagine having another one.

We only have one child as of the moment. He is 5 years old. Though we are planning to add one but not as of this time. I prefer maybe a little bit gap since our attention will be divided and as of the moment we want to provide our undivided attention to our child. Maybe by age 7 already, we will add one more if God permits.

I have three wonderful kids ages 7, 5, and 3 and a half. We are expecting number 4 here in October. This one was definitely unexpected but I wouldn't change anything about why it was sent to us. I feel that it is a blessing in disguise but I suppose we will see. After this one I will not have anymore not because I don't want to but because it's just not in the cards for me at this time.
