Soda and Pizza

I find that when I eat pizza, I almost always want soda to go with it. Something about them goes well together. I especially enjoy dipping the crust in it, if it's crispy.
What do you feel about soda with pizza? Do you only have one kind or another, or will any kind do? (I find most things work, but I'd never dip it in anything but normal Coke/Pepsi)

I have always liked milk with my pizza. I have no idea why, I just do. Though, if its not milk, soda is definitely a close number two. I have to say, I have never tried dipping the crust in either beverage though. I have never been fond of soggy food though. I won't even dip oreos in milk, so I am thinking I wouldn't like the crust in soda.

I like pizza and soda together but not on a regular basis. Yah, they are a good combination. The taste blends.

i have stopped taking aerated drinks due to health reasons. also i have cut down on my junk. BUt sometimes when i have my pizaa , i like to wash it down with a glass of orange or fresh juice.

Well I have nevr dipped my pizza. But I do like to drink a Dr. Pepper with my pizza. Yum!

Nice! I love that combination too! It's true, there's something about that combination that works. But I dun dip the crust in the drink. The soda is more like an "accompaniment" when all that pizza gets too dry in my mouth.
It's a great simple enjoyment of food.

I likepizza and soda. I like dr.pepper or coke with pizza and lots of bread and cheese and garlic sauce to dip it in.

well i too like the combination of pepsi with pizza ut don't dip it.i have it as my side drink.usuallly with all non-veg food items i like to gulp it down with coke.

I too like soda with my pizza I like to drink mountain dew with it. I also have to have a soda for some reason when I eat taco bell and subway too.

Mm. I rarely drink soda nowadays. But I still eat pizza occassionally. ^^ Back when I did drink a lot of soda though, I'd always crave for a Diet Pepsi or coke. . .regular coke/pepsi is too sweet for my taste.

As part of my quest for a healthier lifestyle I am trying to stay away from soda. If I do have it with pizza, I tend to either have rootbeer or Coke. But nowadays I'd much rather have a glass of cold milk. I have acid issues with my stomach, and I find milk is a nice soothing beverage to go with pizza. Plus it's good for you too.

Mhm Mhm Mhm! Nothing better than an ice cold coke and a hot slice of pie! Really, if Coke didn't make my stomach feel so full, I would drink a lot more of it with my pizza and other meals. There really is just something special about the crisp taste pouring down your throat after a hot bite of delicious pizza. Its a special combo.
