What's the longest time you've been friends with anyone?

my bestfriend and i have been friends for almost 11 years now. she worked in another country, but whenever we she goes home here -- she always ask me to be the one to pick her up. she's now here for a vacation. and i never realized how much i missed her til now.

Friendships are hard sometimes, me and my best friend have been together since we were practically born as her mum and my mum were also best friends. When i was 16 i moved so instead of being round the corner i was an hour walk away. It was hard at first but we make sure we see each other at least once a week, we both have busy lives and other friends but as long as we fit each other in everything will be ok. Now our two children are going to do the same as us. So if your in doubt just talk to your friend make arrangements to make sure you can fit each other in.

I've had my best friend for almost as long as I have been alive. We have known each other since we were in diapers and went to the same schools. We recently lose touch when she went overseas for the war. I am hoping for her safe return so she can be with her 3 girls again. We talk online mostly because we live 3 hours from each other. I never did have an eye for the big city like her. We both have common interests and similar job interests. She's a nurse in the army while I am a med aide in the state I live in.

My longest friend is probably from when i was 7, being 32 now, we are only in contact via facebook! but after years of not speaking, i'm pleased :)
