Do any money making web sites annoy you?

I belong to a site that pays about £1 or so for a survey. But the trouble is the minimum payout moved from £5 to £10 and it takes ages for my earnings to be paid or even just updated. Last week I spent 45 minutes doing a survey about Internet providers then it just ended and didn't earn anything for doing this. I really like My Lot but no other money making site seems so enjoyable I feel.
Do any money making websites annoy you?
Do you think the earnings are fair on the sites you use?
Thanks.

I'm actually in the process of putting a site together that not only keeps track of sites that pay, but ones that don't pay as well! The faster it grows, the easier it'll be to keep track of the new programs that pay, and the ones that don't as well! If you're intrested, PM me. =D
But enough about that, yeah. Mylot and only a FEW others actually pay me on time like they say they will, do i feel it's enough? No. I feel that in some cases, they can be paying much more. How much more? I'm not sure. But from what i've figured out about the whole blogs and making money off of them, I imagine that they can pay much much more. and by "they" I mean just about everyone that's legit! I dont really get annoyed by money-making sites other then one's that i'm absolutely sure I should be making more from! Other then that, in general. No, not really :P
G'luck on your sites that pay, and if you're looking for even more send me a PM! =D I even started taking pictures as proof now :o

Yes, Maximax8! You mentioned the "survey" sites. I have no problem with them per se, but when they say something like "This survey will only take 5 minutes of your time".....then it takes 20 minutes....this annoys me lol! I can read and type fast enough, but don't lie to me! All they have to do is say "This survey will take the average user 20 minutes", etc.
I signed up here because I was on "Getrefs" to promote my Yuwie link. I signed up for the credits, but I find it's a most enjoyable site! Using several Traffic Exchanges everyday, I have to sift through 100 "get rich quick" programs to find ONE good one! I think most programs are "fair" if you work them. However, MANY are money wasting schemes and will rip you off. I say this...If you find a site that promises to pay you, and you actually LIKE using it, go for it! Even if it doesn't meet your expectations, you'll still have fun! Have a great day! :)

I don't do survey sites anymore, is the site in question Ciao? Because I hate that site with a passion, you would spend ages filling out a survey only to be told sorry you are NOT eligible, that is a total waste of time and I gave up on them years and years ago. I only do Yougov which is a great UK survey site which pays you 50p to £1 for all surveys which you are paid for every one of them, no points, no getting halfway through to be told sorry you don't get a penny! You do need £50 to cash out tho' I used to get fed up with Yuwie as another money making site, well it is NOT a money making site and that's how I treat it now, great for contacting my friends on it, but I certainly don't do it to make anything. Mylot is the best site for international members to make a bit of money it's true.

My Lot is always enjoyable and it is a way of making friends with people from all over the world. Survey sites can be long and boring if they work properly. If I am not eligible I get a bit cross about this. Needing £50 to cash out sounds challenging I think. There are many useless money making sites out there. Thanks for discussing your experiences.

I hate surveys as they are longwinded and very intrusive, they are others who make you wait for ages to get paid, as they put the payout amount very high, nowadays i only deal with very low payouts, see that i get paid a couple of times, then leave it to grow a bit more before i request payment the next time.

I think it takes quite a bit of time and effort to get started getting a reasonable return from most survey sites, but I'm pretty happy with a few at this time. Nothing is quite as enjoyable as myLot of course, but I do also enjoy writing for page view revenue on Helium, AC, and Triond. My favorite survey sites include InboxDollars and SendEarnings as well as LightSpeed, Global Test Market, NFO MySurvey, and Opinion Outpost. They are all honest programs in my experience, but I'm not sure whether earning opportunities available to international members. QuickRewards and MyTwoCents are fun, too, although not as high paying for me as those others. One has to be careful because some of those that call themselves survey sites are scams.

Yes, definitely.
Since I've joined myLot I've signed up for several other sites as well, all in hopes of making a little extra money. So far I have sifted through the muck and found that I like Memolink (http://www.memolink.com)and QuickRewards (http://quickrewards.net) the best. They seem to add up the fastest (I'm at $7 on memolink and $2.50 on QuickRewards). MyPoints (www.mypoints.com) is 3rd. Lightspeed (http://us.lightspeedpanel.com) is good, but they haven't found very many surveys for me yet.
Surveyspot is okay, but it only gives you entries into the sweepstakes - no real currency adding up there.
PandaResearch and Surveyclub are really annoying, they mostly just throw offers at you where you have to sign up for the offer before you earn anything. -Tink

Yes, I have limited myself to only doing surveys that pay money for surveys, or points that lead -- in a reasonable period of time -- to gift cards or paypal payments. I don't do surveys that enter me in a drawing for prizes! I can enter contests without having to sit for a half-hour or more doing a boring survey!
AND I RESENT doing a survey for 15 minutes, only to be told "sorry you don't qualify to take this survey"...excuse me, but what the hell was I doing for the last 15 minutes of questions? Sometimes the survey to qualify for the survey is obnoxious. But I must say that Synovate panel gives you points for the qualifying survey -- less than for the main survey, but at least you are getting some compensation, because TIME IS MONEY

My experience tells me that survey sites try to make it very difficult for subscribers to achieve payout levels. Some I have tried gave me several at the start, then the source dried up, or they sied I was not appropriate for this survey, after I'd given a fair selection of information. One now is only sending me surveys in Thai because that's where I am living at present.
I would suggest they don't like parting with their money. It's very difficult if you live outside The U.S.

SOme do as you pointed out, you could be half way through the survey and then they say you don't qualify. That is irritating if you spent a reasonable amoung of time and effort answering the questions.
Some of the earnings are fair and others only offer prizes and not cash rewards. Sometimes the prizes aren't any use to me and I have no choice but to choose something. I have on occasion selected items and gifted them away to friends and family though.

hi. some money making websites do annoy me. especially those that only pay little for the hours of great efforts. that just not worth it. I knew myLot after sometimes, and I'm quite happy with this one.
