Love Story

My grand parents celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary the year we got married. It was 10 years back. His sons, DILs, daughter, SIL, grandchildren, great grand child all of us together we celebrated his 80th Birthday. He left for heaveenly abode two years back and my grandma followed him the last year. But the life they have life, the lessons they have taught us, is something full of love, love and love alone that we all are bonded together in a great way. My parents have completed 33 years of married bliss and their love is growing strong. They celebrated this year Valentine's day with a great dinner.

i admire and salute couples who manage their relationship to last that long.. they are real epitome of love that really last forever.. i hope someday my love story with my man will also be like that.. and to all who have partners in life, may we have love in our hearts forever..

People that can last this long, is awesome. I really wish more people could last like this. Too many people anymore are playing with Marriage, and leave it for even the most minor of problems never thinking twice. It is truly Sad, and leaves no Hope for the rest of the world there as well. I just wish people could start putting more emphasis in Marriage like they used too, and allow God back in their lives to help Bless their Marriage as well. My husband and I have been Married for 9 yrs. as of yesterday, and even if it seems small to some, we are more in Love today than we were then, and I am sure with Gods Blessings on us both it will continue to last.

I think it's just amazing to hear of couples staying together 50 years and even longer and still be happily married. I certainly hope I can say the same in 43 years :)

In August of 2007 my husband and I were married for 35 years. I have every intention of being married to him still when we hit the 50 year mark. I not only consider him my husband but my best friend. We have gone through a lot together and weathered the bad times and came through them closer. The good times have been heavenly.
