I am so sad right now. I live near her and have a 12 year old daughter and just can't believe this has happened.
Karissa Boudreau went missing January 27th. Last Saturday a body was found and just now they confirmed that it was her and that it is a homicide. My heart goes out to her loved ones.
I hate to say this but like so many other communities that have had such horrible things happen. This just doesn't happen here. This is stuff you see on tv about other places.

This is why I try to train my kids in self defense so they'll have a better chance of getting away & surviving. You can never really get it to sink in that this could happen until it actually does to someone they know. I feel sorry for her family, they learned the lesson too late.

Thanks so much. I think that being is a small community we almost feel a bit too safe. I just want to hold my girl right now and not let her go. Thanks

It is a sad news indeed. Karissa was on wrong place or was her destiny but it is a chock for everyone and mainly for her family.
