Normally I don't believe in predictions like Nostradamus, tarot-readers or fortune tellers, but this is a little bit different. According to the Mayans, there will be an Apocalypse in 2012 which might mean the end of the world. Now they have been right about soo many other things, and their knowledge of astrology was absolutely fenomenal to say the least, that it makes me worry just a little bit. I talked to shamans, and a lot of them seem to think we won't live to see 2013. So what do you think? Crap or frightening?

wow! that is frightening. yes, i was able to watch a documentary film about this also. everything that was written in the bible about the apocalypse has been starting to manifest in our time. like the katrina, the war, the tidal wave and forest fires. the docu film also involved the predictions of shamans and astrological signs. im so afraid of this thing. coz if it's true -- that the final judgment is near -- im pretty sure i won't be saved coz i've been a very bad person. LOL

I hope you find God " YHWH " I am praying for you just watch God is going to do something in your life soon. It is easier not to believe then you dont have to be accountable for the things you do that you know are wrong.

i don't believe on that pre-assumption...even Jesus don't know when the exact time that the world end...only GOD the father know...as for now we make the best for our life...but in a legal way...doing good things is the best.

i agree, god him self does not even know when he is going to apear again.
i was watching the discovery channell and it was the code braker things that are related to the bible, and how the world id going to end someday
and they said in the year 2013 there will be a asroid will come to the world and will hit and we will all die but i do believe that is not how we are going to die, people predicted that the world was going to end in 2000 and it didnt,
so you never know what is going to happen or when it is ganna happen,

I have been hearing a lot of this on the History channel. Now I am hearing of a really big solar storm to hit Earth in 2012. I don't the world will end or anything, but I think the planet Earth could see a lot of major changes during that time. We just have to wait and see. It's supposely to happen around the winter soltice which is Dec. 21st. So if the world does come to an end on that day, my husband doesn't have to worry about getting me anything for our wedding anniversary on the 22nd, lol.

What's interesting about this is the Mayans have made lots of predictions, and a lot of them correspond to actual events in history (watched it from a documentary back in high school). So I sometimes think - what if this is true, then the Mayans are amazing or something. But of course no one wants for the world to end that soon.

The Mayans said there would be an Apocalypse in 2012? I thought they just gave up continuing the calednar. But you have to realize that everyday it's some sort of "Apocalypse" for everyone. People die every day. But me myself, I don't believe that.

I think they ran out of stone and/or their chisel broke. They probably had a good laugh, and then went on to tear the beating hearts out of their next sacrificial victims.
I don't think the world will end in 2012. But I suppose if there are enough people who perpetuate self-fulfilling prophesies, somebody might do something to alter people's view of the world. But I'll bet it keeps on spinning and life keeps on going.

My heart goes out to all the people who dont believe in YHWH God. I admit it is confusing for most. I dont think were meant to understand everything. I think it is easier for some not to believe at all. Then you dont feel you have to be accountable for evil you do.

That is not true and I don't really believe that because we are just human and Just like Nostradamus he is just a human being, he can predict and foresee whats going to happen in the future but thats it. Only tomorow knows if the sun will still be up there and shine upon Us,
My advice to those who believe in this, if you are frightened or scared and theres alot of things running in to your head then best pray and thannk God for such a wonderful life that he shared with us , and whenever he takes away our lives then thats the end of it.
Nobody can ever predict whats going to happen, there are some predictions that came true and really happen in the present times but how they pictured it in what they saw is far more different and not a clear picture,
Don't be afraid for we well surrender ourselves to him when the right time comes lets not just predict tomorrow as it incosistent, lets stick to the present and be a better person, so when we pass away we gave and shown our part as human being of this world.

Have to say don't believe a word of it. am sure I read somewhere that there isn't a prediction as such it is just when their Calander ends, rather than the end of the world. After Dec 2012 the calander repeats itself.

I don't know the year the world will end but, if you read Revelations in the Bible - there are many things happening today that was predicted before the "end of times"... I am very interested in that area and feel that I will see it in my time .. I am 60 years old...

no one lives forever. Ive heard and reasearched a lot about this. But somehow I don't feel very sad that these could be my last four years on Earth.

The whole Mayan calendar thing isn't even really supposed to denote anything like the end of the world or anything. It is the 13th Baktun cycle which is somewhat like the Mayan version of a Great Year. It is a time period, and that is that.
