I have been involved in lotto clubs for the past 20 years that I run myself and we won twice in a row $1,500 and dumped the whole thing back in for the next draw. It was a blast. we ended playing for the next 6 months for free. Here in Western Canada, we have the best deal, the Western6/49 is only $.50 each for a prize of 1 million dollars and in my town, the Lottery gave us $1 million for school upgrading, so I strongly vouch for the lotteries as they really help a lot of charities and municipalities and they hire a lot of people to look after their kiosks etc...I don`t know how to win the jackpot but my numbers get a 50-75% return, that`s pretty good, huh? and groups are the best to play with considering the odds of winning alone plus if u win big, u have a bunch of friends that wont try to rob u and u can plan trips, meetings, investments, etc..together...

We have played the lotto once in a while, but not weekly.. I dont see much chance of us winning really so why pay into something that will PRobably never pay out! lol just how much money would you put in in a lifetime if you never won and bought just one ticket a week ? That would be a LOT of money saved had you just put it into a bank account instead!!

Hi,
Yes we play the lottery and about 13 years ago we won $1,500 from playing. We also won about $1,000 playing the pick 3 repeatedly for weeks. lol
It was fun, but we haven't won anything in a long time and if I were to win the big one, I would continue to work from my home, but I know my hubby would quit his job :)

Yeah, I play the lottery a little. I do not purchase a ticket everyday. When I think about it and have a few extra dollars on me I will get a ticket. I use to play all the time. Would even pick my numbers and buy in advance! Now it is just hit and miss. Cleaned out my car last week, found a few tickets in there. Logged online to check them, Wow! think of all that money GONE. I travel alot and pick up tickets in different states.
I know of someone that won alot of money and within a few years they were about broke!
Quit my job? I work for myself, but I am sure my hubby would want to find something exciting to do!

lol, I use to buy lottery tickets and then never checked them. I could of been the unfound winner and never cashed in. I'll find old lottery tickets a year later after they've expired. Instead checking to even see if it was a winning ticket for any sum I would throw the ticket away. I don't think I would want to know I had a big winning ticket that I never collected on.
Would I quit my job. No, I would invest in my current online biz and benafactor needy people who needs extra money.

I purchase scratch ticketts from the convenience store just down the street from my house. I always buy the new ticketts when they come out. I have won 10$ on a bingo and thatw as the most I have won. Currently my favourite scratch tickett are the keno ones. I have one on three ticketts that I bought out of the five total ticketts that I have purchased. The rate to win is thirty-three percent, roughly. So I have exceeded the odds of winning.

I think I played it once out of curiosity and that was about 20 years ago. I was only in elementary and lottery was just new in town. I heard people talking about it and how much I could win if I bet one peso. Of course I didn't win. Nowadays, they are everywhere but I can never be persuaded to play it again. I notice that I have just no luck with numbers while other people do have.

My father used to play "Lotto 6/49" religiously for years and years. Then last summer, he won $1000 on "encore", and decided that was enough for him. He passed away a few months later, and I have considered playing his numbers regularly again, but am still unsure.
If I were to play and won a massive amount of money, I don't know that I would quit working altogether, but I might change it up a bit and do more volunteer work instead.

We play regularly, every Tuesday and Thursday like clockwork. Haven't won much though. Only about $5 total in the last year. LOL.
Our biggest winning ever was a couple years ago when we won $150 on 1 ticket. -Tink

I have purchased lottery tickets before, but I don't play regularly. I have been given lottery tickets as a token gift many times as well. The most I have won is about $100.

Yes, I have played the lottery many times but I never won one. I think my luck is just terrible as I have played it more than a hundred times.
