Do you like ginger hair?

I had a very good friend at School who had ginger hair! He got teased relentlessly for it, mind you I was bullied badly at school too, I guess that is what brought us together, we were good friends all the way from Primary to Secondary, we used to go round each others houses to play games and have tea, etc. I still remember his name - Martin, sadly we lost touch as he went to another part of the world. He accepted that his hair was ginger, end of! He took it so well and I guess he had thicker skin than me.

I also have dark brown hair. I think natural red hair is so pretty. I have red highlights in my hair, not much just some. I wouldn't dye my hair though. I don't put chemicals in my hair and once you start dyeing it you have to keep it up.

My daughter was born with ginger hair and a really pale complexion, the one on the right in my profile picture, over the years it became very dark but in the sunshine she has a beautiful red tinge in it. She has never ever dyed her hair and always worn it long, sleek and shiney. My father was brown haired but had ginger freckles all over him which was strange. I think all hair colour whether, brunette, ginger or blonde is beautiful. Go for dark haired men myself though. Ellie :D

I like natural red hair. I think it's pretty neat to have that color hair. Myself, I'm asian and have the typical dark brown (near black) hair. But I do have barely noticeable red highlights, which is more visible in my girls' hair since theirs is a bit lighter brown than mine. The only color hair I don't care for is dyed red hair. I just think it looks too red, too fake. -Tink

Well. I haveCurly naturally ginger hair and i used to hate it. Me personally never really got bullied for it. i just got compliments, ibut i thought that people didnt actually mean what they were saying. It goes very dark in the winter but you can still tell its ginger, and during the summer its lighter, but not extremly light, mine is more of a darker shade and dont hae a really pale coplx either, with minimerlistc frecklesjust on my cheeks. But i Love my hair when it shines in the sun. I have never even THOUGHT of dyeing my hair, let alon doing it. Its just something i DONT want to do. I like how it is and havelearned to like it more as i have been getting older. I am 16 now,( just turnt on the 6th) and think that people with ginger hair that dont like it, should learn to like it. because its uncommon. yes its etting morepopular now, but its not as popular as blonde and brunette. I think that all hair colours are nice and everyone shouldlove who they are :)

I am from the Asian continent, we Filipinos only have black hairs. Some of us dye their hairs, just to have a different color. But I don't do that, since I prefer mine black since this is the common hair color we have.. That same goes to you and to those people who have different hair colors, the color doesn't matter as long as it is natural!;)

I love that term, 'Gingerhair.' That is a new term to me, I have never heard it before! I grew up a redhead. Growing up I was teased mercilessly about my redhair and I hated being so different. I had 4 redheaded children, each with a different shade and all beautiful! I now would give anything to have that red hair back! I have started greying and I miss my red! I see my daughter's beautiful red hair and it looks just like mine used to look. Luckily, she LOVES her red hair. Her hair is so striking that we can be walking in a mall or somewhere and people will walk up to her and tell her that she has beautiful hair!

I don't mind ginger hair at all. I must confess, though, that in general i don't find women with ginger hair as attractive as others, not because of the color of their hair, but because their physical features. However, when the girl is good looking, it looks awesome with her ginger hair. So as I always say, it's case by case.

When I saw the title of this topic I thought "what the hell is ginger hair?" but when I read the contents that's when I understand that ginger hair is red hair, haha.. I think red hair is nice but not the bright red :) Something close to brown. The hair color of the one from "That 70's show" (I forgot her name) is really beautiful.

I have black hair... and this color is so common in my country... or all filipinos have black hair... i envy those with a different color... especially those that they call red head or ginger hair... I don't understand why they get teased for having that hair color... a lot of popular individuals have red hair... like Prince Harry, Rupert Grint, etc...

It really depends... it is said that everybody looks good with that hair color which is his/her own. I agree with this. Of course some girl looks prettier with ginger hair.

Im a guy with long curly ginger hair. Yeah it sucks that some see it as a fault and tease me for it, but all in all it toughens me up i guess
