So, how do you stay motivated?
I find it helps to always have something health but tastes nice that I can eat when I am hungry. Also, reflecting on what I have achieved is useful.
But what about when the gremlings are out in force and you are having a vile day and just need something, anything to boost your mood. How do you avoid the chocolate? What do you do to keep yourself going?

It's discipline that keeps me motivated. I'm a very good starter but rarely finish my projects. But this gym thing I have to continue to see results or I would just waste the money I paid. There are days when I don't feel like going to the gym and now if I succumb to that I would become less and less interested. So what I do is fight over it and go to the gym anyway. When I get on the exercise, I feel motivated again.
When it comes to chocolates, I still give in to my craving but since I haven't got a sweet tooth one small bar about the size of my thumb is enough for the day and I drink lots of water anyway.

It is hard for me to lose weigth and even more hard to stay motivated. I started several diets but finished only one. I lost a lot in 30 days of Miami diet. But it is hard. Now I live with my boyfriend - he has no weight problems. And he eats everything. Worst - I am the one who cooks most of the dinners:( I am not a big help in satying motivated. Just telling I understad it is hard to stay motivated:)

First of all, some kinds of chocolate will help you lose weight!! send me a message privately and I will tell you more about it. it's helping me and its not a special diet or anything. It's real and it's wonderful. Secondly... what motivates me? Well my kids are big motivators, being around to see them grow up and they need me is a big motivator. Also some other ones, more superficial are in June I am having to big things happen, one a trip to San Diego, secondly, high school reunion! So thats a lot of reasons right there to keep away from McDonald's.

I think of what completing the task is going to get me.
Like at work. Voluntary over time comes around and I have a headache and just want to get the heck out of there I think to myself just 45 more hours of overtime and vacation this year is paid for. It works for me every time. 37 hours to go.

It will help a lot if you have a friend who also wants to lose weight and exercise. You can encourage each other. Much easier to continue when there is someone else that expects to do something with you. Going it alone takes more will power and commitment.
