If you work out of your home, what do you do, does it require start up fees, do you have to sell things, what do you do for your stay at home job?

I work from home. I do transcription work for a company called the Transcription Company. It's mainly general transcription-meaning it's not medical. There was no start up fee that I had to give. The only thing that I needed to get started in the transcription business was to buy a foot pedal for playing back the files. But that's a given in this industry and it was only $75. If you would like more info on other ways to work at home let me know. :)

I'm sorry I didn't get back to you sooner. I didn't know you had responded to my response. Nothing let me know. I didn't have too much for qualifications for the job I'm in-just a little bit of experience doing transcription. I don't know if they're hiring right now. They just merged with a company called People Support. There are also other places you can look for non medical transcription work such as www.melodysmommy.com, www.pcworkathome.net, www.telecraig.com(just type in transcription in the box)Hope that helps :)

I would love to have more info about the transcription you do, I type 65 - 70 wpm on a BAD day. LOL. I don't have the specialty knowledge necessary to do medical transcription even though I work in the field already, lol. What were your qualifications for the job?

Hello
I have a home business that is awesome! It is marketing travel packages. All work is done over the phone& online. No cold calling :)
Yes, there is an investment and No, this is not a scam. Coastal has been in business for over 12 years& even offers health insurance to its members. This is not a job – it would be your own business. What you put into – you will get out of it. The commissions are incredible – nothing less than $1,000 Every transaction.

Hi! I do work from home full time. I do contract work for different companies. Right now I am full time with www.workingsol.com and have also done work with www.workathomeagents.com and On Site sourcing. These are companies that you are an independant contractor for, and they do not require any fees.

I have been trying to earn money from home for a couple of years now. Unfortunately, I am still looking. I can tell you the things that don't work though. Don't try home assembly work. It's impossible. Don't do the surveys, most of the surveys don't pay much or they offer chances to be entered into a drawing to possibly win money. I also tried the home party sales with Avon and White Lily Candle Co. I'm not good at pressuring people into buying things, so that didn't work for me either. I did a home daycare. That is very stressful and I don't recommend that. Now I am trying to do internet research with a company called chacha, but they put me on hold because they have too many research guides right now. So... here I am on Mylot. lol. Good luck finding a legit opportunity! If you find a good one, don't forget to post it and let everyone else know! :)
