sotweet78 What I did for my daughter was get her used to her crib during the day with naps and a little bit of playing in the crib for about a couple of weeks. Then I put her in the crib at night for one or two nights for a couple of weeks, putting her back to sleep...

I think the idea of cupcakes is different and maybe easier. You dont have to cut the cake for guests. Of course I would want a small cake for me and my husband to cut and feed to each other.

sotweet78 That's an interesting idea. It's probably easier and a lot cheaper than getting a whole wedding cake or even a smaller one for the two of you and a regular store bought cake for the guests.

sotweet78 Yes, we trick or treat every year given that my daughter nor I are sick. She was a bride this year. And I dressed in a devil's costume. I guess I still look young enough that some people mistook me for a trick or treater!! Bless those hearts!!

sotweet78 I feel for you. Six years ago my mother was diagnosed with lung cancer. And when she got very sick I was able to be home to take care of her while she was dying. It's not an easy job to watch the person who had so much life in them just fizzle out in a way....
