Simon Cowell's comments

He is too honest and critical sometimes. But we need him to test the mentality of the contestant I love to watch the contestant act after he given spray by Simon. Some take it good, some are showing who exactly they are. And some who take it good will love by the audience and Simon too. Brutal truth.

I think he is very rude on a lot of his comments. I mean espically the comments about someones hair style. Also the song they have song. I wonder how well he would do on stage.

well...i think the comments he gives are bitter onthe face but when as a true competetion spirit the contestants should instead take them as challenges...its like enticing some one to a higher level the tough way....as its said when the going gets tough,the tough gets going

While I don't always agree with HOW he says something...9 times out of 10 I agree with WHAT he is saying.

I like Simon's, he's honest as a judge. Sometimes I like his funny looks.

i think simon just calls them like he sees them . he's very outspoken but i can relate to that.

Although I realize that much of what Simon says is because he has to stay 'in character' and is no doubt for rating purposes, sometimes I feel that his comments cut the performers to the bone. I especially feel that this is the case with some of his comments that are not constructive criticism of their musical performance. for instance, he recently told a contestant that his suit was hideous and told another contestant that he looked pale..as if locked in a closet for months. Those comments are totally unrelated and unnecessary in my opinion!

well he is a funny man and a serious man also. sometimes i dont know if he is joking or not. he can be rude but most of the time he is saying the truth.

Simon is like one of the reasons American Idol is very popular... his comment is like the only thing that every contestant is waiting for... eventhough he is like cruel most of the time... still... i like his honesty... and he is not afraid to be hated because of that... He is the second reason why i love watching American Idol... let's face it... he is a person we all love to hate...

At this point in the competition, all he can give are just opinions besides, it makes the show more colorful but at the end of the day, it is you, the voters, who will decide so keep on voting for David or Ramielle. :)

it's interesting to see what simon cowell has to say everytime on american idol. he is honest isn't he? and he doesnt seem to care what other people says, he'll just comment away. the contestants should take his negative comments as a constructive criticism and perhaps try to learn from it to further improve themselves.

I like him very much. he can be very funny sometimes and really open. I am sure it have topuch those people there on the station, but hey if he want them to imrpove he needs to tell them truth. Sometimes I also don't agree with him, but I think he know what he is talking about and I am not profesional like him.

Sometimes Simons comments are very funny but other times I think they are hurtful to the person who is trying their best to be a performer. I get a kick out of the few who can give him a good answer back after he has hurt their feelings.

Simon's comments could really help them if they would jsut listem to it and take it seriously. H had produced a lot of talented artists. And he really knows a very good talent when he sees one.
