helper for dinner? I went to the pantry and have no ideas. But did find 2 boxes of the stuff. With hamburger in the fridge it does seem a logical choice. What would you serve with it?

above31rubies Well, I stay as far away from processed stuff as I can as often as I can. But, I also make this on a rare occasion. When I do make something like this, I try to balance it and make side dishes of fresh fruit salad, salad or veggies.

the computer? I have had this happen a few times.I haven't even been at the computer that long. I think it may be the chair I sit in. Has this happened to you? How do you handle it?

above31rubies Yes! I have almost fallen upon rising because my leg was asleep and I didn't even realize it. Just earlier my leg was sort of numb or something and it was like I would take a step and my leg would 'give out' or sort of buckle. It is weird. And it is scary...

I am sure this is also a result of high gas prices. She said she was at the store and this is what the milk costs. It was only a bit cheaper at another store. She lives in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. This is insane!

above31rubies Well...if there is in fact a "clear policy" on it, then that needs to be followed and enforced. That isn't to say the policy is (or isn't) a good one...it just means that until the policy is changed, it needs to be taken seriously.

above31rubies Well, yeast stuff is fairly easy- it is just tricky and takes TIME due to needing to allow it to rise. But, this recipe looks alot of fun because it involves rolling them into balls...kids love that!

Have you noticed that several restaurants are offering healthier choices on the kids menu? Depending on the place you can get fruit cocktail. Fresh fruit, or steamed broccoli. This works for us, my daughter only wants fries once...

above31rubies I wish they offered this when my daughter was young- she would always choose fruit and veggies over other stuff. But, with my boys...if we're eating out I let them get whatever. It's a treat and eating unhealthy stuff on occasion is ok. So, I don't worry...
