Oh, yes, that happens to me all the time, especially before I moved my desk. Now, I can put my feet up on the armrest of a sofa next to the desk and I haven't had my legs go numb, yet. But, before, they would go numb all the time and I would have to get up and shake them out. It was quite annoying. I don't know why my legs would go numb like that. I wasn't crossing them and I'm not all that heavy, so I know I'm not pinching the circulation off. Or, am I?

It happens to me all of the time but I really think it has alot to do with the way I am sitting here. Sometimes I put my feet up and cross my legs over the other and one will go numb from cutting of the circulation to the other. I also sit with one foot under my other legs also and my leg will go numb. I have to change positions to get the feeling to come back to them.

Yes! I have almost fallen upon rising because my leg was asleep and I didn't even realize it. Just earlier my leg was sort of numb or something and it was like I would take a step and my leg would 'give out' or sort of buckle. It is weird. And it is scary because it doesn't happen right when I get up...it happens after I take a step or two...and often I am upstairs and I get up to go down the stairs. My fear is that one day I am going to find myself at the bottom of the stair much quicker than I expect to!

I sit at a computer all day long. I guess my legs have gotten used to it. However, it might also be that I have a good chair. You should look into getting a better computer chair if this happens regularly to you.

My legs have never gone numb from sitting at the computer, but they have, if I sit on the floor in a crosslegged position for too long.

Yeah, that happens to me sometimes, but it depends on what position I'm sitting in. It really only happens to me if I have my legs crossed or something. Then I guess my circulation kind of gets cut off a little. If I'm just sitting normally though without my legs crossed, then my legs are fine. Whenever they get numb, then I just usually change positions and then it goes away.

ersmommy_ Nope, no numb legs on this side of the computer. I have a good office chair and my compters are set at the proper height. I try to get up and stretch for every hour of computer time.
Fingers numb? It feels like it sometimes!
