Can you recognize mylotters from discussions before U see their username?

Sorry I had to use the U, but I couldn't type in the whole title. What I'm talking about is pretty simple. Sometimes I'll get to a discussion in my inbox, and without even seeing which mylot friend it is from, I know right away who the author of it is. In particular one mylot friend just has this way of speaking through her discussions that makes her very distinctive. It's always a very pleasant vibe, even if the discussion is serious. Another mylotter I can spot just reading the discussion has the same kind of patterns of speech that remain consistent throughout every single of their discussions. There about 3 mylotters I would know right away from their discussion before even knowing the user name of the person who wrote the discussion. Is it the same way with you?

Yes, I can also recognize some of my friends identitiy before I read their user name, cause of the topics they usually post. One almost all the time discuss in the making extra money topics, one mostly about his daily activities and family, one usually write a long topics, and one who usually write interesting topics. Just this kind of pattern that make me notice.

Hi Spookybutt, There's actually only a few that I would recognize in the way that you describe - well, maybe four. One of them is always quite harmonious and respectful in tone, one has a consistently cheerful but irreverent manner, one is mostly deliberately contentious, and the last is usually meticulously logical and argumentative. And two of them you can hear five miles off trading insults with each other, before you even log into myLot! But out of respect, the guilty parties shall remain anonymous...

I believe you have to be one of the ones whom I can tell their identity right off. Your humor is too wry and intelligent to go unnoticed.

I too can recognize your posts without ever having seen your name. As soon as I lay eyes on that esoteric text, I can feel a cold chill run up my spine, the air turns frosty, and I swear I saw something move past my window outside in the black depths of a cold and stormy night - and I'm THREE STORIES UP!!! Spooky, very very spooky...

You're nuts. But that is OK because I belong to the nut family as well.

I agree can quickly tell without reading their name for about 15 people on my friend list. These 15 receive responses quickly when I have something to post. You are one of them. I'm very glad that we are friends.

That is such a nice thing to say. I'm glad we are friends as well. I'm afraid my timing getting to post is becoming slower. I'm only able to use the internet at my parent's house now, so when I'm over here, I'm starting to think my parents don't feel that they are the main reason I visit! : )

i think that i can notice some of my friends discussions just because we tend to have the same sort of conversations on certain posts. though i haven't recognized everyone yet, there are about 2 or 3 that i notice right off. they usually respond to my discussions, and i to theirs.

No, I can't say I do. I'm still fairly new and though I have made some friends, I don't really recognize too many individuals. I'm sure if I'm on here long enough, I'll eventually begin recognizing members through their writing style.

Actually very few ppl I can do that with. There's a few but not many. To be honest, I don't usually pay attention to who starts a discussion I just answer the discussion and move on. Sometimes I'll take notice if the discussion is really imoportant to me. ~~AT PEACE WITHIN~~ **STAND STRONG IN YOUR BELIEFS**

Yes I can do that myself...there are a number of MyLotters here who do have there own distinct "voice" or style to their discussions--of course some are real giveaways...like a certain member here whose doggie writes here from time to time...just love those discussions, and now of course my Pyewacket has gotten into the act of stealing time from the computer and writing to everyone...my...these pets of MyLotters are sure smart...LOL

I have trouble remembering my children's names some of the time, so recognising who has started a discussion really isn't all that easy for me. I think I'm also not here that much, and it can be days between logins so time has been a factor too.

There are some mylot members that I can recognize from their discussions, but for the most part I don't know until I look to see who it is.
