Absolutely! I have pets instead of kids. Over 2 dozen of them in fact! My pets are my best friends, my family and my children. I would be lost without them.

Okay. Guilty as identified, I treat my dog like a person. Really, what is the harm in spoiling our beloved pets? They love us without reservation or judgement and this is something difficult to find when we seek it from our fellow humans. The quality of life my little dude brings to me is irreplacable, enduring, and crucial. He asks for so very little in return for his devotion and many times each day, I find myself looking at him with the utmost gratitude and love. So what if sometimes I have one sided conversations with my dog or share a bit of chinese take out with him (he adores chow mein and chicken balls BTW)? It seems so unimportant when compared with what he brings to my life.

I think my dog thinks she's human. She gets the best food, will go to the vet before I will go to the doctor, goes with me and loves riding in the car and even sleeps with me. No wonder she thinks she's human.

I definitely treat and love them like humans. I even talk to them.LOL. It seemes weird to most people but really, they give back the love you give.

I have 4 dogs and yes, in many ways I do treat them as a person. I have always loved dogs. I feel a special bond with them. People are always dropping off dogs here. I have taken 2 of them in. Took some of the others to the humane shelter and found a home for one a few weeks ago. I just can't take anymore in and give them the care they deserve. All 4 of ours are house dogs so the house is pretty full at the moment, lol.

We too have two pets at home and they are like my brother and sister in law to me. We at home call them by their name and feel very irritated when anyone calls them dog. Frankly speaking My pet Tuffy had more of baby food like farex and cerelac than what as a kid we got.

It is not so good to treat dogs like humans, dogs are dogs and have a different set of needs from humans. People that feed to much or feed inappropriate foods to dogs or don't give them enough exercise or clearly establish themselves as dominant over the dog, do it no favours. all the best urban

I have three cats and they are family. I consider them my babies. Everyone in my family have a cat or two and we all talk about them the same as we talk about our children. My sister is very attached to her cat. It is royally treated for sure. She is that spoiled queen stereotype cat. LOL Too funny. I have three boys that are tough guys but then come to my and are total sucks. Gotta love our four legged family. LOL

I love my pets as much as I love my friends. They even eat better than me!! I have 4 cats, 1 dog, 1 snake, 2 rats, lots of little fishies and 5 land snails. My petys have never hurt me, they dont talk about you behind your back, they only want a little bit of your time and they love unconditionally. They dont complain if you come home later, or drunk or dragging friends behind you. My cats have their own bedroom to share, my dog has his own hand-made bed in the draught-proofed shed, the snake has free run of the house till feeding time or bed time. Yes I treat my pets like people!!

Yes we need to treat our pets like a person,because they also have feelings like we do.They like to play with us when we play or eat when we eat.There are some pets who are loyal to their masters,so i think we should treat our pets nicely.

im guilty of treating my dogs like a person. im the type of pet owner that even buys assories and clothing for my dog. hahaha they even get dinner on a special plate. but its hard you lose a pet, i feel like my dogs are my kids.

Yes.My puppy is like a member of our family. I bath her, feed her,walk her and talk with her. She sleeps in my room most of time. My kid likes her very much. She likes me to hug her and touch her. She is so weak and needs my care.
