clean v.s. throw away, which do you do?

If somthing is dirty, do you clean it up, or just throw it away? I clean it up, because it would get really expensive to just throw away stuff, but I would throw stuff away if I had the money. It's easier and funner, lol! Also, do you ever find throwing away stuff fun? Wierd question I know, but I'm just curious.

I'm pretty frugal and will re-use anything that I can find a use for.
OTOH, there have been times, especially when moving or something, that I know I've thrown away things that I probably shouldn't have, because I was tired of carting them around or they were just in the way.

I don't like to be wasteful, so I would clean it even if I had the money. On the other hand, some things HAVE been fun to throw away. Things that break into a million pieces when they hit the trash can be amusing.
