I think my hubby and I have lost it...lol Found out over the weekend I am pregnant with our 5th child. We have 4 boys; 17, 13, 3, and 18 mths old. We are so hoping for a girl this time!
I am approximately 6 weeks give or take and estimated due date is Oct. 17th. I used an online prego calculator to figure it out.
My mom told me if I got pregnant again after my 4th baby that she would move to another country. She hasn't moved yet and I doubt she will, but the neat part is the estimated due date is her birthday.
Just wanted to check in and share the news with everyone. Will update as I get info from the doctor.

Reading this reminded me of a friend of mine. She has been dying to have a baby boy for years and kept having girls...3 of them before she finally got her boy. Now she's determined to have twins...and not just any twins but twin boys. I have a feeling she'll be starting her own baseball team before that happens with all those kids.
My Aunt also wanted a boy. She had 2 girls, twin boys and then 2 more girls. The twin boys both passed away before they were 3 months old. Some things just aren't meant to be.

OH MY GOODNESS!!!That's awesome!If you can handle 4,you'll be fine with 5.I have 3 and would have had more if i had the finances,a 7 seater and a live in babysitter..other than that,i dont think i could have coped.I hope you get your girl,after having 2 boys and knowing number 3 was my last,i yearned for my girl..it was heartbreaking how much i wanted one.I got my girl so i'm sending girly vibes your way!

Congrats you crazy lady! lol I am carrying number two right now. Hubbies number three actually, and my tubes are being tied during the c section. TWO IS GOOD! lol i dont know how i would look after 3 little own 5 !! hehe i guess your oldest is helpfull though is he ? I hear that's the way it usually works out when you have more then two. I hope your pregnancy goes well and you get that girly you want and she is Healthy and happy ;) Good luck ;)

How cool is that about the due date! My youngest is one day shy of sharing his birthday with my uncle. I think he overheard him (my uncle) wanting them to share a birthday as he wasn't due for 8 more days! LOL

Congratulations. What a lovely surprise for you and your husband. I hope that you have a girl this time. Your 17 and 13 year olds are together in age, that is they are both teenagers. Your 3 year old and your 18 month old are close in age and will love their little sister or brother. I am sure that your mum will be happy for you. My sister was born on my nanny's birthday so that delighted my family. It will be lovely for your fifth baby to be born around the time of your mum's birthday. I hope that your pregnancy will go well.

Congratulations on your 5th pregnancy... i guess we need to keep trying over and over again just to have that elusive son... or daughther in your case... you must really love children... my baby is now 22 months old and i so wanted to have another one... a boy or another girl... but finances are hard right now... so we are opting to wait for a while... until we get things settled...
I hope you get a girl this time...

I've missed seeing you around here at MyLot. Oh my goodness! Number 5 in the oven! I couldn't imagine having that many myself, though I am the oldest of seven. Best wishes for getting your girl. I only had two daughters, so I don't even know what it would be like to have four boys. Though my youngest sister follows behind four brothers, so she turned out to be more of a tom boy!

Well, you sound happy so I am guessing that this is a good thing and congatulations are in order! It is a lot of work but then with 4 boys you guys are probably pretty used to it. I wish you the best and lets hope you get that little girl that you so want. If not, I'm sure you'll make great parents to yet another little boy.

Well first off congratulations. I have my second bun in the oven right now, due June 5th. I have a 3 year old boy already and am lucky enough to be having a girl this time. I doubt your mom is going anywhere, sounds funny though, kinda like something my mom would tell me. My husband wants 6 kids and she said he's crazy. We'll have to see though. Sometimes it's planned other times it's not. All are a blessing though so I love it.
