Fed Up With Sonny?

How far are they going to take this character, in terms of selfishness and blinded by hate and wanting revenge? The way he treats Jason is just degrading and disgusting and every little thing is for him or against him? He is allowed to have a life, but Jason isn't? I can just imagine the 'dressing' down Max would also be in line for in taking his eyes of bratty Michael too. As well his constant harrassment of Johnny who wants nothing to do with mob business is getting a tad sickening...I don't know about you, but I am getting really sick and tired of the Sonny 'me me me' character and wish someone would actually shoot him, if only to shut him the heck up for a bit! Anyone else feeling like that too these days?

I've felt that way for a long time. And I felt even worse about it when they were always shoving the Sonny/Carly coupling down our throats.

Oh yeah the Sonny/Carly, Jason/Courtney hour was a little annoying to say the least! Now it looks like they are driving both Sonny and Carly 'over the edge'. It seems to be all or nothing with those two always!

I think Sonny's anger, frustration and rage which is being pushed on everyone,especially Jason, is being done because when Sonny finds out that Michael accidentally shot Kate he will have a big fall coming his way. A big hit to his ego for sure. Can he redeem himself? Hum...

I was thinking that too. It really has gone to a bad leval. Sonny has turned into this nut. I wonder if he's still taking his meds because it doesn't seem like it. I hope that comes up at some point. Jason really is getting better with sticking up for himself though. I did love the other day when Sonny told Jason to "take care of business and watch Kate" and Jason responded with "now Kates business?" Sonnys response was business is what ever I tell you. I think Jason has the right idea kind of agreing with Sonny then doing his own thing. I really hope the writers change this story line a little. Maybe Sonny could take Michael away for a while. Or even better maybe Sonny could end up in a padded room for a while. Thanks for the discussion. Have a great day. Can't wait for Monday!

I'd also say - I don't think he is blinded by hate, but more by bordum! Is there a single woman in PC he hasn't cuddled with?!?!??! Good grief! That is all he does these days! He is seeing the end of the rainbow and doesn't know what to do next!!!!!

Oh yeah, me too. More than that - he is giving the "mob" a bad name!!! I mean come on, his huge "business" and he don't have a clue as to what is going on in it! The five families - they all think he is a joke, but causeo f Jason, they can't do anything about him. Jason knows it all but Sonny won't listen. Sonny knows nothing but demands this and that, yet as you say...he can have a personal life, but Jason can't. I am looking forward to something exciting with the Michael storyline. Hey, like father like son - just go blindly off in the dark....

what has got me is with Micheal Missing Sonny has really showed not to much emotion in it. Now he is there with Kate by her side and on Jason about finding out who shot Kate. Why is he not out looking for his own son. And yes I will have to agree they need to play him down a some.
