I want to take care of both if I have enough time. If not and the kids are young, I have to take care of the kids. When the kids grow up and the old need my care, I will spend lots of time to take care of them. Anyway, I am busy with taking care of others.

i prefer children though i'm very fond of both. whenever i see elderly beggars on the streets i get so sad coz i feel that they don't have much time left to enjoy the pleasures of the world. but whenever i see children... i don't get so sad for them because i see they're young and they can still do something about their lives, but when it comes to taking care --- i would definitely take a child. it would be fun. most elderly loves to argue.

I've done both and will continue to do so. Each one has positive and negative parts to them. I love taking care of children, especially my own but I also like sitting and talking with the elderly about the past and what used to be. Children are easily entertained until they get older and want to hang with their friends. The elderly require a lot of attention depending on what is wrong.

I have done both. I worked in a childrens home and now do volunteer work in a few old age homes. I have found caring for the aged more rewarding although very depressing at times especially when working with the alzheimer residents. What breaks me the most is that these oldies dont see family members often and we volunteer workers end up comforting them! Its almost like, they feel like 'throw away people" So give me the oldies to care for anyday!
