Expecting something from ur partner is good or bad?

I think its Bad cuz,if the expectation dosent get fulfilled then all u get back is Hell lot of Dissappointments....
N this time its surely gonna drive u crazy.
I m saying all this cuz i have experienced alot in this matter,i have got lots of expectations from my partner,but they were all broken for one or the other reasons.Yeah sometimes the reasons were genuine but every person has his own limits.N now i have made myself clear that if one cannot fulfill any expectations then he/she should'nt give any.Rather than expectations i would like to have surprises.

Hi there m105508! I think that you're right. Expectations often leads to disappointments especially when there's lack of communication and understanding. But I also believe that we have to know what we deserve. We shouldn't be asking for much but for us to be treated right, and with respect. That's one thing that we should always expect from our partners, and from all the other people too. But before expecting that, make sure that you desrve it first.

Well i dont know if i will be able talk much on this topic but still.Well i feel u need to expect but what i would say is.."EXPECT THE UNEXPECTED" i guess this is something tthat has helped me if not totally but atleast a bit, but its because i have never been able to apply that motto perfectly.
Expecting anything has always hurt me so i wud say that u must not expect.Dont show that ur not expecting, just remain normal but inside just remember not to expect. thats what i would say.
