To those that remember, I had a tubal reversal in December of 07. I had a 6 week wait before we could ttc (try to conceive). We are happy to announce that I am now 5 weeks pregnant! What a miracle! My tubal reversal came almost 11 years to the day after I had my tubal ligation. My husband and I are truly blessed.

Well I got a good feeling about it :) And I know all those tests are exhausting and they suck but it will be well worth it in the end...not that I have to tell you that LOL.

So far, a lot of surprises from my OB! She has been extremely supportive. The Doc's are monitoring me by having me take weekly HCG and Progesterone tests to make sure this is healthy and not an ectopic pregnancy--as this is common in women that have reversals.
Lot's of prayers needed...

aww. I'm so happy for you. Congratulations! My husband got snipped awhile back. We had our 2 boys back to back. They're 13 months apart. and 2 months after having my 2nd, we had a pregnancy scare and it scared my husband right to the hospital. Now, 5 years later, i'm ready for another, but we can't. So, i love hearing stories about miracles like yours. Not only am I happy for you, but I get hopeful as well. You are blessed and will continue to be blessed. Enjoy every minute of it. :)

Oh wow! Congratulations! I don't know the odds of getting pregnant after a tubal reversal, but I doubt most people conceive that quickly. That is amazing, and such great news. I know it's probably stupid to ask, but are you hoping for a boy or girl, or do you not have a preference?

Thank you!! I am actually surprised how fast we got pregnant--and VERY grateful as I have no patience. We really have no preference, but, hubby would not mind a little girl :-)

Oooohh! I am soooo happy, happy, happy for you! CONGRATULATIONS!
I want to know all about it! We're planning to have a tubal reversal too. We have been saving for it.
Was the proceedure difficult? Were you in much pain afterwards? Who did you go to?
OH! I am so excited for you! A baby! What a major blessing! You get to buy all of the neat baby things and decorate the nursery!
Is hubby treating you like a china doll yet? I'm so happy for you!

Awh, thank you! We went to Dr. Levine in Louisville. If you have not decided on anyone one yet, I would recommend him! He is one of the best and had been doing reversals the longest in the US.
Not much pain here--and I had a 6 week recovery time before we could start TTC. If you would like more information, send me an email and I'll hook you up with an online group dedicated to tubal reversals!
My husband has always treated me like a queen, but is yes, starting to get more protective.
I am excited to hear about your story!

ohhhhhhhh congrads :) I didnt have a tubal reversal mind you but I had a hard time getting pregnant. Took me 4 years to get my first son, now 4 years to get this one. I'm 36 weeks pregnant and can't wait for it to be over lol. I didnt know that tubal reversal had such a good success rate. I hope everything goes good with you :)
