Chocolate and chilli pepper

I've had a spicy hot chocolate drink that's popular in Mexico. It is pretty tasty and a fun change from plain chocolate/cocoa.

Chocolate with chili pepper in it is really good. It's been around for a long time, like since the Aztecs or Mayans (whichever used chocolate as like, currency), and it's always been pretty popular in Spanish dishes. However, like you said, it's becoming more popular in other cuisine and even in America, which is pretty surprising. :] That's a good thing, though, since it's really good and the chili pepper helps enhance the flavor of the chocolate.
