The last month I've been back and forth from Miami to New York, and vice versa. I've only been outside the country once and really want to broaden my horizons this year. I plan on traveling to Europe and the Caribbean, any suggestions? Any help is appreciated, any specific spots you enjoy?

I love the relaxing atmosphere of the Caribbean. I have been to the lovely island off St Lucia and saw beautiful palm fringed beaches. It was great to listen to the steel drumming and see the rain forest and best of all the Piton Mountains. I live in the UK and so I have seen much of Europe. I like to see attractive architecture and beautiful mountain scenery. My favorite cities in Europe are Prague, Budapest, Salzburg and Lisbon. I liked seeing the amazing castles of Germany and the poppy fields of Bulgaria.
This summer I am flying to Riga in Latvia. I will see a few of the lovely cities like Tallinn in Estonia and hopefully if I get a visa for it St Petersburg in Russia. I also hope to go on a trip to a warmer destination in November. If I can afford it I would love to go to beautiful South Africa to see Cape Town and the Garden Route. Alternatively I will go to a tropical island like Tobago or Grenada. I will leave Canada until May next year shortly before my son reaches two years old. At the moment he has such cheap fares.

Sounds like fun. There's nothing like a road trip with your friends. You'll have stories for the rest of your life if you ever decided which car lol. I've been driving to New York from Miami and vice versa and I tried it alone. I almost went crazy. The next time, I took 2 friends and I was there before I knew it with a smile on my face. Just remember to take a camera.

I've been on a Caribbean cruise with stops in the Caymans, Jamaica, and Mexico. I've been to Mexico a couple of times and love it. I also took a trip to St. John/St. Thomas VI. It's truly beautiful there....the beaches are wonderful and everyone was so nice.
I've also been to Italy and would like to go back. I'd love to go on a Mediterranean cruise or just take trains within Europe and see France, Italy, Spain, Netherlands...

I have been to a place called zandervoot just outside amsterdam in holland which was great cos it was out at the sea but close enough to the city to get the train in.
I also lived in the canadian rockies for a year that i loved so much and highly recommend.
My plans this year are to go to australia (perth) where my sister is for a few weeks and go to Missouri in the states as well but obviously this is gonna cost me an absolute fortune so I really am going to have get saving my pennies.

I would love to go to the United States or go on a europe tour but that's pretty costly for me. This year I am going to Thailand and Indonesia, and perhaps Australia or New Zealand towards enf of the year or something.

My hubby and I also go around the state of Georgia, where we live, and see things around here. I've started blogging about that as well at http://ridetheworldover.blogspot.com We are planning several trips on the bike this year. One up to Helen on April 12, one to Juliette, GA on April 20, one to Savannah, one the Hunting Island, SC, one to Deal's Gap, NC and one all the way up to CT to visit my best friend. So we will be super busy. I hope that you can join me on my trips via my blog.
