Coupons or no coupons

Of course what idiot wouldn't want money off of something!? No offence...=)

Hi, yes i used coupons and we are the same because it saves money. What are coupons for it thought us how to save anyway.

I only use them if it was something I was going ot buy anyway or if it is a great deal. Most of the things I buy I never see coupons for. Milk, Bread , Eggs, rice. I never see coupons for the basic things in life.

I'm "only" 55 and I also love to save money! To me, having a coupon and not using it for something you buy is the same as literally throwing cash into the garbage. I don't mean buying something you're not going to use just because you have a coupon or buying the name brand when the store brand is just as good and would actually be cheaper than the name brand even with the coupon but if it's a product I'm going to buy I sure do use the coupons. Especially with many stores offering double coupons and sometimes even triples, you can't go wrong. I save the most I think with the register coupons I get from the stores where I have a "bonus" card or whatever each particular store calls it. I rarely pay full price for a shopping order. Annie

Coupons are a great way to save, IF you're going to buy that item anyway. I very rarely find a coupon I can really use as they are normally for the more expensive products that I don't buy. I stick with generic/store brand on most things, and I'm basically a thrifty person. I won't buy new things just to try them out.

I use coupons when they're for something that I buy anyway, but often the cents off equals less than buying the generic or store brand of the same product. It (literally) pays to keep an eye on that. Some brand names are worth buying, though, so if I can find a coupon for them, then I use them without question.

Hell ya! LOL I use coupons every chance I get...and rebates as well when they are available...Between using coupons that match our grocery store customer card and being sensible we've actually saved a decent amount of money over the yrs..

I use coupons all the time. I usually buy two to ten papers a week to get the coupon sections. I combine coupons with sales as well as rebates. I do the whole nine yards. I have found that CVS is a great retail store that offers a great rebate program that can be combined with coupons to save you a ton of money. That is what I like to save tons of money. I have been very lucky here. I have not spent any money on shampoo, conditioners, deodorants, toothpaste, or toothbrushes in at least a year maybe longer. When you don't have to pay out cash for your personal items you can spend a little extra in the grocery department. There are no coupons on meat so the money you save with the coupons you can spend here. There have been a few coupons on perdue chicken as well as jimmy dean sausages. I like to shop in stores that double my coupons too. We have a superfresh grocery store that doubles up to .99 and that is good. Most stores in my area only double up to .50 cents. This increases your savings. As you can see I love to shop. My daughter tells every one that her mom can actually make a penny squeal. She tells them that every time she goes to the store with me she can here that penny yelling.

I am 31 and I do use coupons almost every time I shop. I usually do a couple "big shops" a month and that is when I take all my saved up coupons in and redeem! It is usually around $15 each time so I probably save around 30 a month with coupons. I also try to buy and stock up while things are on sale and buy generic when possible. I also use tricks around the house to stretch my buck far. Like one I learned here was add fabric softener and water and put in a spray bottle and you have really cheap Frebreeze. Been using it for a few weeks now and it works just like the expensive stuff. Though I am in Canada and use Save.ca for many great coupons. There are a ton more sites for the US to get them.

there are many coupon sites, having tried many, I stopped the choice on . I like it there that most of the shops is updated daily. And before every purchase, I'm looking for codes and saving money on a product or delivery
