How can I have a star?

It seems that every people here have a star before their name, and with a number in it. What is the star means? Why I do not own one?
After you have a star, Is there something change?
Can you give me help?

The star is simply your rating, next to each discussion and response you make you'll see a + and - sign, the more positive ratings you get, the higher your star rating will become, up to a maximum of 100/100.
To get a star rating, you simply need to post 100 times.
Nothing changes when you get a star rating, other than the fact that you can see how people have rated your discussions and responses. However, in quite a few cases, the star ratings are wildly inaccurate, and I don't think many people take the star ratings seriously.

cellophane is right dear. first of all you should have 100 points as number of your posting in here in order to get star ranking. more quality your posting in mylot forum more higher star ranking that you have which on range 1 till 10. higher star ranking indicates that you are actively to be here in responding or even make topic discussion and the quality of your posting. i hope this is helping you out and happy posting in mylot, dear. chhherrrssss!

I know what star means now, it seems that i still have a long way to go. 100 posts, a great task for me, as I am not sign up here in myot.
I hope I can get a good reputation when i see my star. I think with your guide and help, I can do an excellet job here.

well, you have to reach 100th posts first before you can have a star beside your name... so you are not too far to go... the star is basically your ratings... the more positive ratings you receive from your posts and responds, the more your star will rise... but beware of the trolls here who are trying to downgrade your star by rating you negative for no reasons... many users here have experienced that and they are trying to get rid of their stars now... it creates less trouble and headaches... take care and have a nice day...

When your the number next to your name cross to 100 you will be rated by mylot.They will put one star before your name.The number on star will vary from 0-10.10 star is the max rating you can get .
star rating number keeps on changing depending upon your activeness to the discussion.
So to get 10 star you keep on responding to the discussion.

You know what? I've once asked this question "how can I have a star?" it's when you post or participate 100 times . I've reached 100 already now I have a star. keep posting one a day you'll be surprise to see a star above your username.Good luck!

I try to make as many posts as I can in my free time, I think I make more than 10 posts in a day here. And now I think the number of my posts is more than 100 now, but I still can not see the star, and the number following with my name is still in 60s. I do not know why.
How mylot count the number?
I want to see my star soon.
