I bought a house this past May. I figured this was the best time to buy and the seller even paid the closing costs and left all the appliances as well as fixing a couple of things. This is my first house and I love it...I would never have been able to afford it a few years ago. This is a great time to buy, I'm just sorry for the sellers.

Providing that I had a stable job, I would definitely buy right now if I was moving from an apartment to my first home. I think the problem for a lot of us is that buying a house also means that we have to sell the house we have right now. With the slow market, getting your house to sell might be difficult. I've seen many houses sitting there with the sale sign for months, some for over a year!
