We live three miles from town and we have saved over 10 dogs that people have left to die in the desert.
We went for a walk last year in june, when it was over 100 degrees outside and found five pups. They had no food and no water. When they saw us they all came running and were so happy to see us they we pissing all over themselves.
3 of the 4 dogs we have now are dogs that were left to die. We have coyotes and rattlers out here in the desert. I just can't understand what people think. They just don't care to them it's just a dog. There should be a TV show for survivor for dogs. I think it would be quite incredible.

If a person leaves their loved ones, it means he or she is afraid of taking responsibility. The sad thing, if a person is married with kids. The abandonment issue will be remembered by the kids for the rest of their lives. It is same principle with catering the dogs.

It is very sad that a lot of people think this way and do what they do to these poor creatures. It pains me to no end to hear such things but it does happen unfortunetly. Thank goodness there are people like us who do care and take them in and give them a good home with lots of love and care. You will get your reward some day and when you do, it'll be ten fold!!

I hate people who leave the dogs. Dogs are a loyal friend and you should never abandon them. If a person does not want a dog must not only buy it!

AWww well luckily you were there to save the 5 pups. I hate that I feel they should either get their dog fixed or give the puppies away. Theres always people looking for pups. My sisters dog got preg one time. She had 8 I think. We went to a local store and sat out front offering them for free. All were gone within a half hour. One guy even came back and gave us 5 dollars saying the dog was worth at least that. I think if people took some time into getting rid of them it would work instead of just leaving them abandoned. At it at least gives the a chance at something they didnt even ask for.
