Who did you see?
I saw Alanis Morissette and Matchbox 20 a couple of weeks ago, and they were both great. It has been a long time since I've been to a concert, and I forgot how much fun it can be. My friend and I went. We had good seats, kind of far away, but with a direct view of the stage, and we could see everything.
I've always wanted to see Alanis in concert, and this is the first time she has come near me- well, over an hour away, but worth the drive?
So do you like concerts? Who have you seen or want to see?

Sc I am insanely jealous, Alanis and Matchbox are two of my all time favourites. I would just about give anything to see either of them.
While I live in a capital city it is very small and a 4000km away from the next major city so it is not often anyone comes here and plane tickets are incredibly expensive so that is not an option either.
Every now and then we strike it lucky and get some one decent, A few months ago I went and saw Paul Kelly (He is pretty big in Australia) this was the first time in a long time I had been to a concert, it was awesome.
Other big names I have seen include AC/DC, 10CC, and the Violent Femmes. My town is currently petitioning to get Elton John to come visit in May so fingers crossed

I have always liked Matchbox 20, but Alanis is my favorite, ever. She is an incredible artist. I love her music, her lyrics. I love that she is a real musician, she plays instruments. She's not just a pretty face with a good voice.
She sounded Amazing live. If you've ever heard a live performance of hers, she sounds even better when you are there.
I'm sorry. I'm not trying to rub it in. I am just amazed at how good she really is. I was so excited to see her, and she didn't disappoint.

The last time I was in concert two months ago, it was hard music festival. If you talk about world-famous concert then two last times were "Metalmania" and "Wacken Open Air" where gathered together a lot of famous bands from all over the world.

The last time I went to a concert was about 6 years ago. We saw Skid Row, Ted Nugent and KISS (Awesome). My husband doesn't even like their music and he enjoyed the show. It was a special gift for my stepson, who adores Kiss. Others I've really enjoyed were many years ago... Tina Turner, the best! Foreigner, REO, Hall & Oats, John Denver and the Rolling Stones. When I saw the Stones, it was 1983 and supposedly their last tour... ha ha.. they toured for many years after that concert.
I would like to see Meatloaf if he does another tour. Other singers I would like to see in person are Kelly Clarkson, Reba, Faith Hill, Martina Mcbride and of course, my all time favorite Bon Jovi! I guess this is quite a list and there are probably a bunch more I would pay money to see, but our venue seats only about 10,000, so the stars don't always want to appear in a house that only holds that amount of people.

I think some of these bands have a 'farewell tour' just so they can later have a 'comeback tour.' I bet the Stones put on a good show!

I am almost 30 now and I have only been to two concerts in my life. Both of them were when I was 18 years old.
I went to Tim McGraw/Faith Hill on my 18th birthday and Adam Sandler a couple of days before I got married.
I might go to more concerts if I still lived in Michigan but I moved away the week after getting married.

I saw Journey about 9 or 10 years ago. Before that, it was a little outdoor festival in Cleveland, OH (where I am from) with Barenaked Ladies. And, before that I think it was a New Kids on The Block concert. I have only been to about 5 concerts in all of my 35 years. My hubby says that is pathetic! And yet, he won't just man up and take me to a Maroon 5 concert as I have no one else to go with because none of my girlfriends like them!

Well, he better stop saying that unless he is willing to help your situation. I haven't been to a lot of concerts, either, but I think I need to start going to more. They are a lot of fun.

Seriously! He loves hockey! I don't like any sports! Just not a sports kind of girl. But, I go to them with him because I am a supportive wifey! What is the deal? Not that I would ever expect him to pay me back for being a devoted wife but, would it kill him to go with me to one Maroon 5 concert after all of the hockey games I have gone to with him? Sheesh! LOL!

When I was younger I used to go to a ton of concerts but now at my age they kinda dwindled away. The last concert that I went to was something like three or four years ago and we went to see Billy Joel and Elton John. It was such a fun concert! Before that it was Kiss on their last tour like six or seven years ago. I gotta start getting back to doing those things once in awhile, maybe it will help me feel a little younger again, LOL!~D

I took my daughter to two Hanson concerts in October 2007, and will be taking her to two more in May of this year.
I also have seen in concert Travis Tritt, Toby Keith, Kenny Chesney, Tracy Lawrence, Trace Adkins, Jason Aldean and several others that I can't remember. All of these country artist I've seen has been at our local fair each year so I can't remember what year I've seen each one. Also Percy Sledge along with another oldies group just a few years back at our local fair. That was one that instead of enjoying it with my daughter I went with my mother and really enjoyed it.

So you're a country music fan. Our local fair does not usually have big acts. Usually they are local, but sometimes there are some good ones.

Hello Sillychick! Well I didn't see the Alanis Morissette and the Matchbox 20. When it comes to concerts I really love to attend them, I have been to a Bow Wow, Omarion, Chris Brown and Soulja Boy concert. In the future I want to attend a Mary J Blidge concert. I love her songs also I would love to attend a T.I concert since I love his music and him a whole lot. I wouldn't mind attending a Huey or Alica Keys concert. I mean these people are great hip hop and R&B idols. So I really wouldn't mind going to one of their concerts.
