How Often Do You Wear Makeup?

I got to the point where I never wore any make up and rarely did more with my hair than put it up in a pony. Now that my kids are older and I find I do have a little more "me" time, I do my hair almost daily (I cut it SHORT for locks of love a few months ago and it looks really awful if I do nothing with it now). I wear makeup if I am going out (as in out of the house not out on the town...lol) most of the time. Sometimes I put the whole works on...but often, if I am just running errands I simply put on my mineral foundation to even out my skin a bit.

I used to wear more makeup when I was younger. Now I just wear a bnit of concealer, pressed powder and some blush everday, just to make me look healthy and stuff. As for makeup such as eye makeup, I probably only wear that, at the most, once a month, and that's being generous. Sometimes I feel like I should wear more makeup, just to try to look more put together and adult (I'm 26 and still getting carded everywhere), but most of the time i just can't be bothered.

I'm with you Kelly. There was a time when I would take a shower and do my hair and make up before my baseball games. Now I'm lucky if I wear make up once a week, and I work in a bar. In fact I went in the bar one night when I was off, my hair was done and I had make up on and one of my regulars didn't even recognize me. The other problem is when I do want to make myself up, I have to hunt down the hair straightner, make up ect. That my daughter has taken upon herself to borrow. Not to long ago I had to stop and buy a mascara on the way to a wedding, because she had taken most of makeup to her dad's. Her reason, well Mom it's not like you use it.

Hi Kelly, I use makeup daily, atleast the lipstick and eye shadow and concelers. I got married 5 months ago and now that i have to preper breakfast i am not having time for makeup..... imagine after kids i will have to forget makeup only. I can understand your position but then all husbands want to see their wifes beauty so try to make time. I put makeup when i am travlling in the train to office. Take care.

I use make up everyday, if I leave the house, no matter where I'm going. If I'm just taking my sister to school I have to at least put a little foundation on. I don't always have to wear eye shadow, and lipstick adnd blush...I just always have to wear my Bare Minerals! :)

hi there, aww that's too bad.. you should stay pretty even if youre already a mom so that hubby will be happy.hehehe i put make up on everyday too but it depends on the time i have left to put it on. you can do a simple concealer blush eyebrow lipgloss and maskara when on the rush.. atleast thats what i do. so that i wont look pale and just got out of bed when i go out. when i have more time i prep up really long..so time is of the essence. its a girls bestfriend. stay pretty.
