I dont want to be thin..or even skinny...i just want to be abe to go to the dr and NOT have them tell me im overweight. Id also like to be able to shop in the NON plus size sections of stores. I got to shop in la vie en rose last week and i was so happy because i could things from there now that i havent been able to in years.
I think people should be at a weight or thinness that makes them happy as long as they arent risking their health.

Yes, it is so to some extent. Let us honestly accept one fact - it is very difficult for one to keep the body trim through out one's life! So to that extent we need to give respect for those who could acheive that - may be through regimen or easily by inheritance! It is also true that slimness keeps one healthy. Then why not adore the "beauty" of slimness!

I don't think anyone should believe that they have to be stick thin. Some people are NOT genetically made to me stick thin and I am one of those people. Now there is never an excuse to overeat and be obese but some people are broader boned than others and they are not meant to be stick thin. No one should ever feel that way, thanks to that, the reason that so many eating disorders exist!

Because I have applied and interviewed for many jobs. I thought I was a shoo in based on my experience. I always get turned away. I weighed 220 last summer, got a job, everyone there was very thin and athletic. I didn't really fit in, ever. I would hear people telling fat jokes about another employee and it made me think "hmm, what do they say about me when I'm away?" They eventually let me go because I wasn't performing to their standards, even tho a week prior they were telling me I was doing a really good job.
I feel like being a fat person makes me only good enough to bag groceries or some low-life job. My confidence is in the toilet and I really need to feel better about myself. Maybe looking like a normal person gives people the confidence to integrate with society? I duno. I just know for me I wont' accept myself until I'm semi-thin.

Something I must battle with most of the people I see in the gym. Personally the skinny models on the catwalk are not nice and I hate the fact that society says this is perfection when clearly it is not.
A body should have curves and shape athletic looking, that in my mind is perfection.

I think beauty is in the eye of the beholder as they say. Most people want to see women with a trimmed body. But I think you can achieve that without killing yourself. You just need to exercise and control your food consumption. But don't skip meals since it can cause you some illness.
