May be it is because of the spring, but I feel so weak and flabby... I do not like to use drugs or medicine. May be somebody knows the perfect method to raise the spirits?

Hi sommergold315, There's all sorts of herbal approaches to lift your general energy levels if you're feeling a bit under the weather. Coffee, of all things, is actually a potent herb, and it will definitely perk most people up for a while - especially brewed whole-bean coffee, rather than the processed instant variety. Another good suggestion is hot peppers, especially Cayenne Pepper - excellent for the cardiovascular system and blood flow to the peripherals. Ginko Biloba and / or Gotu Kola help to improve metal acuity. Ginger and Garlic (but not both together) are both excellent all-round health tonics. On the other hand, a few generous servings of a variety of fresh fruit throughout the day will do wonders for your blood sugar levels, as well as providing heaps of vitamins and other good nutrition to your body. Lastly, a good physical workout each morning before breakfast - even something as simple as a good brisk 30 minute walk or jogging session, or even a swim if you are able - should help to lift your metabolism, get those muscles working and get you fired up for an energetic day. It won't happen overnight, but you should be able to improve your general disposition over a few days to a week or two. But only you can figure out what's best for you, and you won't know until you try.

Many thank! It is professional advice! I know a lot about Ginko, Ginger and Garlic, but I know nothing about Cayenne Pepper.

Hi sommergold315, I forgot to mention another really good way to lift one's spirits and get energized - listen to your most favorite happy music when you are feeling a bit down, it's guaranteed to improve the way you feel and put you in a positive frame of mind. Music is a peculiar thing in that way, but it can be a marvelous tonic for both body and mind.

I know the feeling. Getting outside for some exercise usually helps lift my spirits. I'm starting to do more walking again and am looking forward to biking after all the snow melts.
